holy shit the multiple attempts to gain headlines by making up shit is exceptional, get sympathy points instead of pretending you have a chance

The oil depot at Vasylkiv, southwest of Kiev, has been bombed by Russians.

I guess the Russians don't need that fuel so badly after all.

It's quite funny how many heroes with unique titles are rising up on one side but not the other.
Definitely no propaganda for sure.

From Russian Telegram so mound of salt

Kiev sketches of the night of February 26, 2022
The armed forces of the Ukrainian "resistance" continue to fight with unknown people in Kyiv.

They shot the car of civilians, and before that, the national police staged a fight with the "resistance". They were mistaken for "Russian saboteurs".

On the eve of the Ukrainian "resistance" shot at a column of their own soldiers and killed a family of five people.

All of them were recognized as "saboteurs", but later the national police and deputies recognized the "mistake".
When both sides look largely the same I'm not surprised. It's bad enough trying to identify vehicles and equipment otherwise in the heat of conflict, this is just too much.

IIRC, the Cuban missile crisis ended with us taking missiles out of Turkey, and the USSR removing the missiles from Cuba. When's the last time Russia held military exercises in Cuba or installed weapons systems there capable of hitting the USA?
I mentioned this several times before, but remove all the bullshit about Castro, Communism vs Capitalism, etc., and think about just why the Cuba Missile crisis was so destabilizing and dangerous: it had placed the nuclear trip wire right on the front door of one of the major nuclear powers, and in a country that had historical grievances with said nuclear power. What has the US/NATO essentially been trying to do by trying to woo Ukraine into their fold? Placing the nuclear trip wire right on the front door of one of the major nuclear powers, and in a country that has historical grievances with said nuclear power.

Our institutions are run by idiots that take zero lessons from history.
