I've wondered though are there are Chinese monarchists. There are monarchists in places that haven't had kings (France, which recently had a very large legitimist march recently) or emperors (Brazil) in a long time, longer than China (and there were efforts via a warlord or two to revive it, without counting Manchukuo). Sorry for the OT.

Jesus Christ... I would just fucking walk if I was there alone. It's only 3 hours according to Google Maps with multiple villages en route.

Not really the Qing are absolutely hated. Shikai technically last emperor, was a rando officer who declared himself bc he could and anything else is to far in the past to matter
