The government of Manchukuo is a scam. It was founded by a bunch of weirdo Chinese in the early 2000s
It either started out as a troll or a hugbox for monarchist LARPers. But whatever it is, its got no historical
connection to anything real.
I've wondered though are there are Chinese monarchists. There are monarchists in places that haven't had kings (France, which recently had a very large legitimist march recently) or emperors (Brazil) in a long time, longer than China (and there were efforts via a warlord or two to revive it, without counting Manchukuo). Sorry for the OT.

Let them have their heroes, even if they are imaginary. All they have now is Stephan Bandera and not too many Ukranians actually like him. Its good that they have the Ghost of Kiev.

Its like Juba the Sniper for the Iraqis. Its cool. Its obviously overblown, but its alright..
They might as well just make Batman their hero. He's about as real as the Ghost of Kyiv.

Images from Lviv train station of people scrambling to get on trains to Poland. They are packed so full that many people have to leave their belongings behind.

Footage supposedly from the Ukrainian-Polish border:

Jesus Christ... I would just fucking walk if I was there alone. It's only 3 hours according to Google Maps with multiple villages en route.

Not really the Qing are absolutely hated. Shikai technically last emperor, was a rando officer who declared himself bc he could and anything else is to far in the past to matter

This is the kind of madness that the late Professor Stephen Cohen was warning about up until his untimely death in 2020.
"The politics of post-independence Ukraine clearly demonstrates that the root of the problem lies in efforts by Ukrainian politicians to impose their will on recalcitrant parts of the country, first by one faction, then by the other. That is the essence of the conflict between Viktor Yanukovych and his principal political rival, Yulia Tymoshenko. They represent the two wings of Ukraine and have not been willing to share power. A wise U.S. policy toward Ukraine would seek a way for the two parts of the country to cooperate with each other. We should seek reconciliation, not the domination of a faction.

Russia and the West, and least of all the various factions in Ukraine, have not acted on this principle. Each has made the situation worse. Russia would not be able to impose a military solution without isolating itself at a time when many of its borders are already precarious. For the West, the demonization of Vladimir Putin is not a policy; it is an alibi for the absence of one."

keep kevetching for zion don I’m sure it’ll make him president again
Do you think normal voters care about ebin meme nazi stormfag jew hatred? How is this even an argument? Have you ever tried like getting off your computer and talking to real people? Did you explain to them how you pray to Thor instead of Jesus because Jesus was an evil jew? What was their reaction I wonder.

Here's a twitter thread on the sanctions and what they might mean, and surprise there is some European perfidity and baby splitting:

Yeah this war is going to have some very interesting impacts on things. The first time two real peer forces have faced off in ages.

I wonder if the lack of big air strikes is also because the Ukrainian AA is way better than they anticipated.

They sent helicopters into kiev on the first day

I just dont understand russia letting the power and water stay on
