Here’s one I saw a few days ago

If this faggot is such a world traveler, he learned nothing on his travels and is little more than a rootless vagabond and a consumer, a grasshopper that hopped from field to field and danced.

Now, he doesn't understand the world he took for granted and is confused that in some places the midget stripper's done dancing and she wants paid.

This fucker sacrificed nothing to "prepare to offset Russia" and is confused because he doesn't understand what goes into it, how it works, or why we'll stand there and watch Ukraine burn to the fucking ground.

He's also such a prancing grasshopper he only understands air strikes, artillery, tanks, and infantry charges like in his movies. He doesn't understand that shipping 10,000 AT4's someone dug out of an old depot in Germany does more, safely, than a wild air strike with F22's and American bodies dead in ditches.

I hate people like this. I honestly LOATHE them.

People still eat it, hook line and sinker.

The average American is an idiot who thinks that there really are superheroes who can stop entire invasions on their own. These people can be milked for donations.

The Ukrainians, on the other hand, just want something to believe in. Something that tells them that they still have hope.
But us reposting tales of these mythic heroes spawned from the mind of a patriotic people fighting for the survival of their nation will get us more updoots!

Let's run down what Ukraine has been doing the past few days
  1. Propping up false hero stories using vidya footage
    View attachment 3022635
  2. E-begging on Twitter for donations from random people and Elon Musk (Probably was r/Ukraine's Idea)
    View attachment 3022642
  3. Spreading old images of (((Volodymyr Zelenskyy))) in army outfits
    View attachment 3022652
  4. Reporting huge numbers of Russians killed while Russians are barely reporting any statistics at all
Truth is dead. Both sides are utter liars and we are in full force disinformation warfare. Anyone who believes either side is 100% telling the truth is dumb cattle and hasn't been paying attention in class.
The worst part is this is just a taste. Clearly any time in the future with a military conflict, this exact stuff is gonna happen over and over. Doubly so if someone involved is one of Twitter's hated groups.

I'm not sure what to think about these abandoned vehicles. Even though I suppose that they could be Russian vehicles that have either been knocked out or ran out of gas, I'm suspicious of the latter. The Russians have been doing a fairly okay job of prosecuting this war so far. If they're this incompetent as to send random convoys out with little fuel, why are they fairly confident everywhere else?

Even if they ran out of fuel, why are they abandoning the vehicles? They've got radios, I'm sure. Why not call in for support? It's all too weird.

Two possibilities here:

1.) The Russians really are this incompetent and are sending out convoys with no hope of return with little fuel. Perhaps they have little fuel near the front; which begs the question how they're so easily keeping up mass helicopter operations without end, but can't seem to fuel up a bunch of Ural and Gaz trucks.

2.) The 'Russian' vehicles are actually Ukrainian. I find this more likely, since fuel is already noted to be in short supply in Ukraine. Unless the Russians are holding them back in reserve, I would have expected to see greater use of the slightly newer BMP-3. The modernized versions provide quite a bit more protection than the by-now ancient BMP-2.

I also cannot recall seeing any of the newer T72 and T90 (essentially the same platform) tanks. We are, instead, seeing copious amounts of T80s and T72s of the same mid-90s vintage. I said earlier that the Russians had been wanting to get rid of the T80 for ages - it was a boondoggle for the Soviets when it was first released and ever since they mass-produced thousands of the fuckers, they still have them.

If this was a manner of holding back their cream armor, why are they flying Ka-52s and Mi-28s all over the place? I'm suspicious that Russia doesn't have the armor assets it claims to have.
alot of the vehicles have Russian IFF. also keep in mind we are only getting civilian Ukrainian video out. the Russians were banned from bringing any recording devices (pretty smart). there have also been videos of locals asking Russians what they are doing and the Russians tell them they are lost and out of gas. they are outpacing their logistics and leaving their rear (and this supplies) undefended. In this video the Ukrainian asks them where they are going (Kiev) and why they are stopped (out of gas) and offers to tow them back to Russia (they laugh).

What tough is figuring out is when one side is even 1% telling the truth.

We'll have accurate statistics when it ends. Intelligence agencies have an interest in knowing how much both Ukraine and Russia lost and why. The US is guaranteed to be pointing a lot of spy satellites at Ukraine right now and reconnaissance flights are continuing along the Polish border.

I get it that a lot of Ukrainians, especially in the west, are resisting and vehemently oppose Russian occupation, but I don't like that the media's painting every Ukrainian that way, like they're all sitting scared of the tyrannical Russian mobs swarming their borders. East of Kiev you had people going out and giving presents to Russian troops and cheering for them and in Kiev itself you had civilians getting armed by the government immediately begin attacking government forces with said weapons. That's not to underrate the resistance to Russia, but I think the media is definitely overstating it or at least not mentioning a good chunk of Ukrainians not only support Russia's move but are outright fighting for it. It's a lot more complicated than "Putin literally trying to Hitlerstalin Ukrainians who hate him".

It's one of the oldest tactics in the book. If either side is losing, they can just lie to their people that they are actually winning. We all heard of the brave Afghani women taking up arms to protect Kabul from the evil Taliban.... oops looks like that didn't work out so well.
I have been lurking this thread a lot and to be honest I don't know how many people died and I doubt anyone will know until it's all over.

A lot of places announcing "support of Ukraine" are doing things like this:

Los Angeles City Hall supporting Ukraine!

Need to do some research: this might be fake news. The LA Rams have the blue and yellow colors and they just won the Super Bowl (in CA cities, like I imagine most NFL towns, they light up some key buildings in team colors -- I know San Francisco did this for the 49ers).

None. None of them do.

Even afterwards, nobody ever tells the truth of what happened.

If you are ever involved in something earthshaking, something that makes CNN, something for the history books, do the following:

Write down your musings and your experiences in a notebook every night, even if you do it by candlelight.
Hoard a few pictures (printed out) and don't look at them for like 10 years.

Wait 10 years.

Go online and look at what everyone "knows" about it. Look at what the official stories are. Look up things you were directly involved in.

And you will discover:

They all lie. All of them.

And you will have people who watched it on TV look you dead in the eye and tell you that it didn't happen that way. That you're misremembering the picture you're showing them.

They all lie.
