Everytime I hear about bad shit happening it is some tweet saying X forces killed Y and it’s just a video of people you cannot really identify being dead already not knowing who killed them so you don’t even know who committed the atrocity even when they were clearly civilians. So it’s kinda hard to take the whole Zelensky claim of genocide seriously when everyone is running around shooting at each other without identifying what they are shooting at first.
"RAW FOOTAGE: WHOLE RUSSIAN COLUMN DESTROYED + BURNING (WARNING NSFW DEATH)"
*shaky footage of a man walking and slurring russian as he looks at a truck with one body off in a field behind it*

I'm sure Russia's doing it too but that's been pretty much every single video like that so far. Anything saying they've found losses or casualties use clickbait titles and don't give any explanation to the scene, or just blatantly use old footage.

Apparently abandoned trucks could also be a trap to try to draw out air units intending to destroy them. Or it could be stupidity. Or both.

It took 2.4 million soviet soldiers to take back eastern ukraine in WW2 and they still had problems with entire german units getting past them and attacking the rear. Russia is now doing the same thing with 190,000. and then they have to occupy. I just dont see it.

Fantastic A#1 analysis champ but would just like to point out that there are some differences between today and the clash between Hitler's mighty Wehrmacht and the Soviet juggernaught

I have no clue and I have heard like a billion different reasons for it, apparently spelling it Kiev means you are a Putin puppet, but to me it is just easier to pronounce as an English speaker. Kiyiv just doesn't look our sound right when trying to say it.
All Slavic languages sound like someone talking in reverse while chewing an entire pouch of Big League Chew. If you want to be authentic you have to make disgusting sounds because that's what the language is.

Either do it right or don't do it at all.

alot of these guys are only in the army for 1 year. they are barely soldiers to begin with.
Yeah, a lot of people miss that.

Mandatory conscription doesn't exactly produce people who want to fix bayonets and charge the enemy.

Lots of westerners don't really get what all goes into being a soldier. Leftists, in particular (especially the kind screaming for Marvel superheroes to save everyone) seem to think it can be done in a weekend by retards and don't realize that any western soldier who's been in longer than 3 years is usually a professional.

That, and they think all militaries are perfectly balanced and equal with just the equipment having different skins they bought with their defense budget.

Serious question: what is with the rebranding as Kyiv? Kiev isn't quite right either, but "keev" is just wrong. If anything it should be Kiyiv, pronounced "key yeev". If they were going to go through the trouble of re-latinizing the name, why not do it correctly?
Because apparently "Kyiv" was decided on as the "proper" Romanization of the Ukrainian Cyrillic of Київ by some Ukrainian academics long ago.

Kinda thinking it's bait on both sides. Strange how many people are walking around filming intact wrecks and no one's apparently looting from them, taking guns or other military hardware to score some quick rubles. Maybe they don't wanna incriminate themselves, or maybe there are soldiers in the treeline told to ambush enemy troops and only fire warning shots if civilians get too close or start stealing shit. My best guess anyway. The ones where shit's burning is likely more real, though it's never clear whether it's Russian or Ukrainian tech.

The average American is an idiot who thinks that there really are superheroes who can stop entire invasions on their own. These people can be milked for donations.
I dunno man. I'm pretty average. Mediocre even. And I don't believe a damn word spoken by any side in this conflict.

I think you meant to say the average American on social media. Those people are different and clearly have mental impairments and untreated illnesses to even be there. Taking those places to be some greater bellweather for public gullibility is like judging average American's heterosexuality by visiting the Blue Oyster Bar.

Heh heh heh. Breast.
Breaking news from CNN, we have reports that Russian forces have penetrated Kiev's defenses.

Dont know if i would loot enemy equipment in a active warzone. doesn't seem smart.

That dude is a hardcore Pro-Russian which isn't a surprise, personally even though he's a good compiler of info I don't trust a word he says when he goes "Trust me bro." And even then, there are so many people in cities that people going traitor isn't much of a surprise.
He's pro-russian, I wouldn't class him as "hardcore", but yeah totally grain of salt

Lookslike the reason were seeing what we are seeing is the best Russian heavy units were assigned to the Crimean front, the spec ops/paratroopers to the Kee-yob attack, and the 2nd line units/peoples militias to the north east and east. So the good units break through in the south very convincingly and appear to be outrunning any attempts by Ukies to mount up a secondary defense and will probably run up the Dnieper cutting off all the Ukie forces currently engaged in brutal fighting with the 2nd line units.

The spec ops/paratroopers did the usual snake eater thing of mounting an unnecessarily high risk showy op that didn't work out like they hoped and resulted in high casualties.
So Putin is giving false hope to the Ukrainians by letting them think they are defeating typical Russian cannon fodder jackoffs while the real varsity squad is going to anally rape them up the ass literally and figuratively?

I know what I said and I'm not taking back my words.

Yeah using twitter or reddit to gauge any kind of intelligence is kind of stupid.
