Its so weird, if you say you support Putin and Russia, the vitiriol and hostility you'd get reminds me when people went ballistic for not wearing a mask during the coronavirus. Instead of saying your killing grandma, being selfish infecting people, now people say your evil for supporting a evil regime.

Reason why I would support Putin is beside the Mainstream media going full steam of "Russia bad", the"the ghost of kiev" being raised to superhero status by twitter for killing 6 russian pilots, seeing all these marvel fan-fiction about taking on Putin, mainstream media and half the world condemning Putin; reminds me of the hatred Trump got by said mainstream media and half the world when Orange man barely did anything when he was president.

Anyone getting the same feeling of people going crazy like during the Coronavirus pandemic? And demonizing you if you go against the Coronavirus pandemic or in this case going against Ukraine? Also you don't know?! Look it up on the Internet you crazy Ignoramus!

TLDR: Deja Vu: Hostility towards Putin is so similar to how people treated Trump, and people getting angry about Russia's invasion on Ukraine reminds me how people acted like scared beasts, like me, during the Coronavirus pandemic.

At this point I straight up disbelieve almost everything I see. Hell half of what's ITT is shitposts and hi-larious memes, and while the obvious stuff like Sam Hyde or "Transgender Journalist" is easy to spot, it's all part of the information overload. I mean I ain't even mad yo, I've been on the internet for years, but it's tough to pick out whats legit and research stuff.

We're seeing a new stage of propaganda. We can look back on the propaganda of 50-100 years ago and chuckle about how hamfisted it is, and pat ourselves on the backs and say "I'd never fall for that lol". But this new breed is blatant lies mixed with jokes and truth and govt officials and news organizations fall for it. It comes at you so fast and in such quantity it's impossible to parse.

Like I don't believe the casualty numbers from either side, and I think even when it's said done we'll never know the truth.

That's Givi and Motorola. They were battalion commanders in Donetsk, fighting for the local republic and became the local legends/posterboys for the people there. Sadly both were killed in bombings some time after the situation in Donbass "calmed down".
