This is your future, Dean. Spectre had a bigger audience than you and he deleted over 80 videos dating back 3 or 4 years, including the ones on this lawsuit. Was he concerned about his own legal liability, or was this part of a settlement with Preston?

It's been almost 5 months since his last YouTube video on the case, and he hasn't tweeted anything about it since early January despite all the updates and Preston pegging him. Maybe he's decided his reporting isn't important, and he's just going to livestream games from now on. Below is a short clip showing the apex of Dean's master plan--secretly have Spectre do all the hard work, and then once the motion to dismiss was granted, pull back the curtain and rub it in Preston's face. But Spectre couldn't keep his big mouth shut and blabbed before the reply brief had even been filed. He took off the Dean mask because he wanted everyone to know it was actually The Spectre who vanquished the evil Preston, and now he wishes they would forget.

To be completely fair, Rekieta did throw ONE lifeline to Spectre where he said he THINKS that Spectre didn't have a hand in Dean's first motion that failed to raise the jurisdiction issue. As if to say that Dean inflicted the most grievous wound upon himself. Because the jurisdiction argument is basically the Game Genie™ in this particular case. You plug it in, type in a simple code, and win.

But it's a shitty lifeline, because Spectre himself claims he wrote the second motion. And there were other arguments to be raised. The Magistrate Judge flatly rejected Spectre's "failure to state a claim" argument in determining that it appears Preston has a case. EXACTLY the opposite result of what happened in Vic's case.

All this would would really mean, if true, is that Dean did the ultimate fuckup himself, but that any attempt to unfuck that with the follow-on motion was dashed because the direct involvement of the attention whoring craterface.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure no lawyer would really condone Spectre's meddling like this. Lawyers have to go to school for long stretches of time, assume massive student debt doing so (usually), and have to follow an ethical code in order to remain in good standing with the bar.

But here comes Spectre... he's a genius. Hero of the Boston Marathon bombing! Marine Corps Captain! Stolen Valor.

He can't be arsed to do any of that edu-ma-cation and licensing shit. He's just gonna jump straight to the last step and do some LAWSPLAININ'.

You know, you probably should give that idea serious consideration, because according to you, the whole Spectre 06 persona derives from a radio callsign you claim you were assigned in the Marines. In terms of what Vikki is known to have said and what is in the complaint, she did almost nothing that could rise to the level of defamation IMO. Dean and FROG both said worse things
from a legal point of view. (and I still don't think any of their stuff rises to defamation either).

The worst direct quotes they could find were the following:

“Created woman that looked like they were underage.”
“a woman that looks like that you would go to jail for f_______.”
“its Loli in 3D reflection.”
“just because Loli is legal it doesn’t mean it not child porn.” (a double negative)
“woman that are created young enough to look like they’re underage.”

I've yet to see anything attributed to her that defamed Preston at all. The only quotes they could come up with to defame Lamont
are those that offer an opinion that he draws characters that appear to be underaged.

From a strictly legal point of view, the lawsuit is within reason. Its within reason in the same way that the lawsuits of the mountain jews
are considered within reason by the federal courts. People have a right to bring legal actions that are bad and a waste of time & money.

But on the other side, these lawsuits were all stupid in that if properly defended, they would have all failed on the question of jurisdiction.
All the precedent in the 5th Circuit (including Texas) was against jurisdiction being granted in this case.

Basically what you're saying here, if you read between the lines, is that you think she defamed you, and you think this is her just deserts.

You're entitled to that opinion, but I think the issue you're gonna run into is a lot of people are gonna take umbrage at the idea that Preston's lawsuit can be held up as an example of Vikki defaming people. This, in turn, will only hurt the credibility of whatever claims you want to make that she defamed you.

People are free to opine that's it's bullshit. That's the point of Lolcow & Lolcow LLP. At least that's what I've come to understand.

Right now, NOBODY in a position of authority can say whether Preston's lawsuit is bullshit after she defaulted. That's kind of the problem. The judge didn't even have anything to look at. It wasn't judged on either procedure or merits, other than the fact that service was returned, and there was no reply.

Ehhh... he included quotations in his complaint that are things they did indeed say... but the issue is whether those things are legally defamatory and actionable.

However, Preston did indeed make shit up. Like claiming Angel of Darkness was rejected by Kickstarter, because of the controversy over Demonatrix. That's demonstrably untrue. Angel of Darkness was on Kickstarter even as they wrote that tripe in their complaint.

To me, he flat out lied in his complaint.

That's true. If you do something that ridiculous and stupid you deserve to get laughed at, more so if you can't laugh at yourself for the fuck up and accept it. Peggy is clearly still butthurt over getting pegged and Dean and Vick made the pain (rightfully) worse and then got themselves into a lolsuit they can't even defend themselves properly in. It's funny to see someone that got pegged and humiliated then go and gaining the advantage against 2 of the 3 defendants when all evidence pointed at one time to all 3 defendants being able to win against Peggy and owning him some more.

I find it hilarious to see some people screw so badly against a pegged clown and easy target that they are on the receiving end of getting legally pegged, especially when a crater faced, wannabe lawyer/former Marine with stolen valor screws over someone's chance to waver the lolsuit. The lawsuit came up on FlashCast again. A show Rekieta frequents. There was more dabbing on @Spectre_06 and Dean. However, there was a twist this time. Dean's brother, Crow of Judgment, was there to join in. I'm not joking. Here's a clip, and I've provided a transcript.
