It was extremely upsetting that I missed the Yugo debut. I saw that it was in 15 min and I was like "I'll sleep a few more min" but forgot/didn't realize I should set a timer, so I missed it. Just finished VOD.

Yugo debut thoughts: The model is superb. It's a FEMBOY with abs, YES! The voice is divine and the lore video was amazing. Sweet man with wholesome goals and based music taste. He is dripping with personality. He and Fulgur are my favorites so far (will have to watch debut 2.0 of Fulgur some other time.)

Nice, this is presented beautifully! Really helps with visualizing patterns.

So we can see that hardly any individual Rushia stream was overlapped by only one person, they were all either overlapped by multiple or had no overlap at all, including the "special" streams.
Some senpais overlap more than others, but none really stand out in the amount of overlap, not even Matsuri or Miko.
Visually, at a glance, I think there are a shitton of streams just barely avoiding overlap with Rushia, starting just after hers or ending just before hers. But I'm not gonna rrat about that.

Also, hadn't thought of this before, but I checked some of the suspected senpais against everyone else in the data. As a percentage of total hours:
- Matsuri overlapped more with Choco, Aqua, Mel, Haachama, and Okayu than with Rushia
- Miko overlapped more with Aqua, Akirose, AZKi, Okayu, Haachama, Korone, etc etc, than with Rushia
- Aqua overlapped more with Korone, Akirose, Matsuri, Miko, Okayu, Subaru, etc etc than with Rushia
This is by percentage of total hours, but the senpais with the larger total stream hours still skew it a little. Either way, nobody was overlapping more with Rushia than they were with plenty of others!

I think the conclusion to take away is that there are two possibilities:
1) her senpai beef had nothing to do with overlaps, it was a misunderstanding/mistranslation on the part of the fanbase, or
2) the beef did involve overlaps, but it was all in her menhera head because there's clearly nothing intentional going on here


Yeah that makes sense, the complaints being separate. Does that mean she complained about people overlapping with her in general, then? Either way, I think any issues with overlap would have to have been in her head, because the overlaps are all pretty similar and nothing stands out at all. It'd be pretty easy to fixate on one thing and then start seeing everything through the lens of confirmation bias.


I did notice their debut numbers were huge, but wow, more than double the previous set of debuts. Luxiem must have really drawn in a lot of new fans to the scene.

What I got from Gura and IRyS was that the plan for the 5 of them to meet were discussed but the whole execution was sudden, so the karaoke got everyone else by surprise.

Oh that's right Gura was supposed to be there but she got the rona so it was really supposed to be 6 members. It just seems like everyone knew except Cali and Kiara.
In order to get into Canada you're gonna need a negative covid test within the last 72 hrs of your flight so they had about 2-3 days prep before flying out.

I feel like La+ and Gura could make a really fun combo. I would have hoped for some other members for the next Calli's English Lessons but I'm not complaining.

Well my theory is that she just hated people overlapping her in general (among other things no doubt) and would actively push them (through her manager or in private) to stream at different hours, the problem is she couldn't really do that to her seniors (even if they're less popular like Mel, Choco or Roboco) so it wasn't about any senpai in particular but more like the "culture" where she can't always have it her way. Would also explain why she was so vague about it.

It makes me wonder though why was Rushia so friendly with Coco, you would think she might be jealous of her gachikoi and akasupas stealing her number 1 spot but she spoke highly of the dragon even long after the graduation, menhera works in mysterious ways.

If the so call “harass” from a FPS senpai who stream at the same time as her is real then we can narrow down into two. Either Aqua (who try to sololive Apex into master rank last December but fail miserably result in her taking break) or Matsuri who’s participate in some Apex tourney last year.

It took some special type of menhenra to even complain about something that trivia. “I make more money but I hate it when those youngster disrespect me by streaming the same time at me”.

Imagine Mafumafu want to pull out from the menhenra and finally get this final yab to completely cut tie.

Most of them are still streaming, their viewership depends really, there's a few 20views people in there. As you say, those who didn't orbit Melody / vshitshow got distanced.

I watched Yuikai a bit around that time, she was gaining popularity fast alongside people like Ironmouse and Silvervale (both of which raided her multiple times) but then unfortunately took a big break around March 2020 right as the western VTuber scene exploded. Sadly, her growth never recovered.

Also, while I've never watched her, I remember that KyrieAI has an autoimmune disorder that's pretty much the opposite of Ironmouse's (overactive instead of underactive.)

She's still streaming these days, seems she's part of a few vtubers who are doing bilibili streams these days as well it seems. Wonder how much they get paid to do those.

Well I remember when it first came up (think it was Rushia's member post actually) most people assumed it's an anti-fake or a joke so nobody looked too deep into it. Speaking about /vt/ the newest take seems to be that "senpai bullying" was just a generic excuse to play the victim and Mikeneko done shit like that before:
