I’d like to politely point Kev to the SRS Surgeries thread. This girl was put on T at 14 years old and got her breasts lopped off underage. This is just one example out of many.

My god, there's so much wrong here with everything he is trying to say. Making a rash decision that could leave young women infertile could have horrible consequences. You know Kevin, like how you like to whine and cry about how you are just like a barren woman? Yeah. Kind of like how that twelve-year-old tomboy might actually feel in ten years when she realizes that she destroyed her body/opportunity to bear children because her parents let a child without the capacity to understand long-term consequences make permanent decisions for herself because the narrative is now that their daughter will commit suicide if she isn't allowed to go on testosterone.

It's also shocking (not really, he just says whatever without actually being consistent with his beliefs) that Kevin, who drones on and on about the evils of capitalism, doesn't see that a doctor might be saying surgeries and hormones are "perfectly safe" because they have created an entire industry out of chopping up teens, or getting teens ready to be chopped as soon as they are of legal age to do so? IIRC, Kevvy uses Photoshop and has recently tested out Clip Studio Paint, particularly with that ghastly picture. If I were to guess he's got the stabilization of the pen cranked up, and might be adjusting his lines again and again after. Small, simple things like that. Who knows, I'm less familiar with the current tech of photoshop or else I'd tell you if he's using vector layers where you can really fine tune the lines.

I'd say he has a bit of talent, but his proclivities for the garish and his inability to take ANY critique make him a very, very slow learner. We'll see as we go further.

Well i know it has a built in screen type and is BIG and Penny got it for him back when he worked at Target still. Kevin also was NOT using fucking clip studio paint until like this week which for those of you who don't know there's basically no reason not to use it for drawing.

Pro mangakas use this that should be enough proof it's OP. Japanese made so its quality, goes on sale biannually for $25 bucks. Comes with a 3D modeling program for pose references that you can easily transfer over what you're working on if you're not sure if youre drawing it right anatomically, updates constantly and has great community contests, no subscription fee, very intuitive, has a whole built in asset store of freebs like brushes/ textures/ gradients/ 3d models/ auto-commands where it's artists helping artists making stuff (people can also charge for their brushes or assets too but most don't).

Photoshoop:
We all know it. Photoshop is now requires monthly subscriptions unlike the old glory days and is really not user friendly for drawing. Its glory days are over because of greedy faggotry.

SAI:
Jap made with free trial but is likely bought as much as the winrar or 7zip trials. It is also the one poorfags on Tumblr use and the people who sperg about "omg you copied art/stole my oc thats so bad!!!" While having illegally downloaded this software and still use it illegally.
It works but is pretty low tier in its tech and the only thing it's mildly better at than CSPaint is the lining tools are better and offer tapering options where CSPaint is "git gud learn to draw nigger".

Old portfolio post (no not all of it). A lot of this esp the rendering is the program being good not him although a few are decent in terms of proportion and he understands good lighting etc.

Strengths:
His cartoony stuff i think is his biggest strength because it fits his style. He is good at dynamic posing and it not looking awkward which really is important for cartoon styles which rely heavily on lineart, cell shading, and posing to come to life.

Weaknesses/ improvements:
Text choices and placement (graphic design). Backgrounds. Portrait style images (all of his ones look like the Undyne where its okay its just missing something ,realism and adding texture is where he really falters. All of his art has a very flat feeling which is fine and just his style, but some of his pieces are trying for extra details and texture like Midna's hair (and weird al's hair) and it really brings down the quality of the piece.
