Nowhere in my post did I say to the contrary, if you chose to read between the lines you’d see that I have no doubt that Nader is capable of rape.

How does your argument stand when said victim only decides she is a victim when she feels scorned enough? "All victims should be believed" is bullshit as long as there is massive proof that the person was not a victim - she was a massive harasser, a bully and a psycho, flying off the handle every time she got a whiff of things not going according to her delusions.

Any person who says they have been raped should be taken seriously. The question is, if there is reason to doubt the accusation how long does it take until that doubt begins to form? In this case, I think it's obvious the answer is "pretty quickly".

The problem Chantal has is that Nader didn't assault her at noon in front of the local news cameras with a sign that said "I'm raping this woman". There is no hard proof. All we have to go on is her word and we all know Chantal to be a habitual liar. We all have seen her pinball back and forth hinting that he assaulted her, swearing it was only rough (and enjoyably erotic) sex, and saying it was actual sexual assault. She did this for months and the only times her story changed was when she was either swearing she was through with him for good or happily going back to him and telling us we didn't see how caring Nader was when the camera was turned off.

Of course, an habitual liar can be raped. But when the stakes are taking away someone's freedom, no matter how unlikeable he is we want to be as sure as we can be. Chantal has created too much doubt and we all know her word to be worthless. Let's not forget that a prosecution has one of two outcomes: guilty or not guilty. "Innocent" is not an option. "Not guilty" does not mean the judge or jury believes the defendant to be innocent, it simply means the prosecution has not proven their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I don't see how that's possible in this case.
