Putin just needs to start demanding payment in Rubles or gold. Of course not settling in dollars would be breach of contract but the EU has shown it doesn't care about that. Russia has the opposite problem of all shithole countries that end up collapsing through sanctions, they have too much hard currency and have been banned from selling it. A big motivator for the burgers kicking Russia out of SWIFT is to prevent Russia dumping it's dollars.

One last thing for all the spergs simping for Ukraine. Russia achieved air supremacy 24 hours after the invasion. Take a minute and consider what that means in terms of tactical superiority on the battlefield. Russia could utterly destroy the Ukrainian army any time it feels like, instead they're confining themselves to ground maneuvers. Advance, surround and hold. They've been so careful in avoiding damaging civilian infrastructure that the only instances of non military assets being hit are all friendly fire incidents on the Ukrainian side. Whatever Putin has in mind it obviously does not involve conquering a wasteland.

-Russians are basically banned from doing any banking in foreign countries or with foreign currency

It means companies in Russia need to exchange 80% of their forigen currencies to help prop up the ruble, I am certain there is gonna be a lot of pissed off companies because of this.

If I was Poland I’d be feeling really smug right now. France could do it too if they wanted. Imo Russia could beat Germany but that’s because they would rather lose a war than give an inch to their more competent elements.
