Those drones are much smaller than a ground attack aircraft, and don't carry as large of missiles or as many, let alone a gun. They're not really what cold war era air defense and detection was designed for- which is a Strike Eagle screaming in at mach 2 with eight air to ground missiles, instead of some dinky ass motorized kite dropping a laser guided bomb.
This was observed with the same model of drone between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the latter of which had air defenses that theoretically should have been plenty capable of dealing with them.
Those drones aren't small though. They basically have the same size and radar profile as a Cesna. Since drones have yet to be used against a western nation I can't say for certain, but I suspect that Soviet era AA is not as good as some seem to believe. I suspect that against a modern western air force we might get a repeat of the slaughter that was the sky over the Levant during the Yom Kippur war

is the doomsday device really that autistically programmed? The russians were able to take ones of their fighters being downed by the Turks without the cobalt-balthorium G bombs being detonated
No. It's explicitly a switch that only triggers if key bases and cities get knocked out. Imagine the US's nuclear football but if the football itself stops sending a signal, then the nukes are armed and prepped for launch.

If it was triggered to go off during a conventional war than any happening with the non-nuclear shitholes in their periphery might end the world.

Oh good 😅. If you accept that the timing of the first push was intentionally after Brandon sundowned you can basically assume that everything has been timed around the SotU address.

Which would explain why a very rapid assault seemed to suddenly slow. So now we try to guess what’ll it be …
I doubt it was planed that far ahead but opportunity arises.

PS.
Hey Catface.
The one good thing to come out of 2008 was me picking up 3 pure bred kitties when my cat breeding neighbors lost their house.
A Ragdoll, A color point Siamese and a Main Coon.
I couldn't let them be homeless

Slovkia needs its jets for the next Balkan war, thank you very much

Bulgaria also uninterested in handing over its airforce so it can be destroyed on the ground by ballistic missiles

Hungary angling for a piece of the pie when Ukraine is divided up

European unity about where it's always been. Very interested to see what happens with the Italian banks that are overexposed to Russian lending.

Not trying to be a Putinbot this is more just pointing out to all the people ranting that Russia would be immediately turned into a total pariah state, the EU would nobly sacrifice the heating of their homes by refusing to buy Russian energy, and the EU would send its troops to defend democracy in Ukraine were fucking wrong and I was right so there.
I get the feeling the powers that be in the EU are about as mad as Russia is that the Ukrainians didn't roll over and die. The longer this goes on, the more people are going to demand they actually back up all that bullshit they talked up before it started.

By the way, to anybody who somehow doesn't believe that soldiers on both sides can choose to desert, it's worth reminding you that we're still only 4 days into the war. In this stage, of course we're going to see abandoned vehicles and equipment; the ones who left them are, most likely, the soldiers of lower ranks who were sent purely to gauge the strength of the enemy, not make some committed push outright.

The last thing you want is to send your elites first, only to have them shredded by some barrage truck you had no idea the enemy had.

Idiots are calling for no-fly zone...that means certain global conflict between the US/NATO and Russia. I don't think these imbecils understand that would entail shooting down Russian planes and the start of WW3.
The only way to enforce a no fly zone now is to perform SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defense) missions to take out their mid - long range air defense and possibly hitting thier air bases to take out their fighter interceptors.

You really can't enforce a no fly zone if the enemy has SAMs in the area.

It has been claimed that this video shows a Ukrainian civilian walking around in a Russian outpost around Sumy that was just completely abandoned with all the vehicles and equipment left there, for some reason. Obviously I am very skeptical of this claim, but there is something interesting...

It's a white Z, which would fit with it being a Russian vehicle, but I've never seen it painted inside a red hexagon before. There's a black 2 painted over it as well, which I've also not seen before.

That's not how this works. Have you EVER seen the US invade a country with the fucking National Guard taking point?

I suspect the division of Ukrainian territory is already being discussed in back-channels and we’ll find out about it soon when the “solution” is revealed to the world - coincidentally giving Putin what he wanted but leaving a rump-Ukraine for the EU to claim victory over. Let’s see if the EU countries take a bite “to protect” b

God this consumer shit is depressing. Anyway, if people really feel the need to buy Ukrainian stuff why not something nice like pysanky or vytynanky that you'd want to keep around even after you lose interest in this conflict and won't just end up donated to goodwill along with your St. Fauci prayer candle and Cuomosexual shirt?

It's always gotta be the worst junk people buy.

Red captures the eye more lets you notice the white Z better.

Meme I made
inb4 wojakposting
Holy shit, even when ready to shoot (I know, 99% odds that it's a photo op but it's still supposed to be that) and they're still wearing masks. It really is the manchu queue for globalists. Did the Russkies ditch the mask BS long ago or am I just schizoposting?
I'm not the one saying might makes right, though. You're essentially saying that by saying "yeah Russia and China can put sanctions on the US because nobody else is going to do it, regardless of how morally right or wrong the actions of the US are".

I think sending troops to fight a sovereign nation isn't good for anyone in the long run. I don't support Russia making war with Ukraine. But I'm tired of Americans coming into threads like this with their dumbass fucking exceptionalist mindset of "RUSSIA IS IN THE WRONG AND IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT THE US HAS BEEN DOING THE SAME THING UNOPPOSED FOR THE PAST DECADES BECAUSE THAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT!".

Yeah, except as we've just gone over, the US is held to a different standard and expectation. The entire world doesn't sanction the US when they blow the shit out of some backwater shithole's military, kill tens of thousands of civilians to take cities, etc. Those countries have just as much sovereignty as Ukraine does. But Russia is held to a different "basic standard and expectation".

The fact that you can post such dogshit drivel is proof of how brainwashed with American Exceptionalism you are.
Because America is the global sovereign, anointed by God's Chosen People in 1945. It's like asking why the SWAT team can shoot niggers once given the correct warrant, but when niggers shoot each other they go to jail.

Gee, it would be easier to be a neoliberal shill if they didn't keep trying to permanent revolution with groups like BLM all the time.
