"stop" is not "immune". A lot of the energy from a bullet is still transferred directly into the user, and under the right circumstances can still kill the wearer through blunt force trauma. Additionally, body armor only covers a relatively small portion of the body, which anyone with a sense of self-preservation will already be keeping behind as much cover as possible. Most fatalities these days are actually due hemorrhage from arm or leg hits severing the arteries there, because if you're under too much fire to get to your buddy fast, a tourniquet ain't gonna do much for him.

You guys have triggered my autism, a few points

1. Depending on the rating of the armor/distance at impact Body armor can most certainly stop projectiles from battle rifles. NIJ ratings for Armor are determined at 45 feet, so NIJ Level IV will stop .30-06 M2AP with a muzzle velocity of 2880fps +/- 30fps with less than 44mm of Backface Deformation (most armor on the market will come in well below that) So Level IV will most certainly stop projectiles fired from battle rifles, Level III+ special threat will stop battle rifle rounds at a greater distance and so on and so forth for Level III
2. Steel is not armor no matter how much truck bed liner is applied.
3. Ceramic Body Armor is designed to distribute the force of impact across the strike face while a layer of UHMWPE catches the projectile.
3.1 IMPACT ENEGRY OF THE PROJECTILE CANNOT EXCEED THE ENERGY IMAPRTED UPON THE SHOOTER DURING RECOIL so no organs will not be liquified and you will not be sent flying.
4. While certainly real Backface Deformation (BFD) is not a problem with non chinesium body armor. Armor certified by the American NIJ are allowed to have up to 44mm of BFD while Armor certified under Russian GOST are allowed a maximum of 16mm.

I read in wikipedia about the T-14 and it has anti-tank missile protection which is definitely the biggest struggle right now for Russian tanks, many theorize the reason Russian Tanks aren't just drifting all over the capital is because of the metric ton of Javelins the west has been sending that renders the Russian old tanks useless when a single infantry can just shoot a whole trough it.
Wouldn't be surprised if Russia rushes the tanks if the conflict keeps going

There have been some convincing arguments made that the T-14's APS can stop flyover top attack missiles like NLAW and TOW-2B(which work by flying a few feet over the turret and pooping EFPs into the roof) but not Javelin, since Javelin performs top attack by actually coming down on the roof at a ~45 degree angle.

APS systems tend to just be big airburst grenade launchers designed to shower incoming projectiles in fragments and the T-14's APS tubes are mounted horizontally, meaning they wouldn't be pointed directly at incoming Javelins, on the other hand they are much bigger than any other existing APS so they might be able to spit out enough fragments to hit them anyways.

Can't remember where I saw it but the Russians will probably hold off assaulting Kiev until they've destroyed the Ukrainian army, in the hope that causes Ukraine to capitulate to save them the horrible urban fight.

They have isolated the city. They could afford to leave it alone for a while and focus on other priorities. In particular the war in the east is moving more rapidly now and they could
(emphisize could) cut off a large part of the Ukrainian Army fighting the east. But the convoy could indicate an equal intent to take the city.
If we had good information on the relative positions of forces in the city and the the forces Ukraine has inside Kiev, it would be easier to guess. But we don't have any good
info on the Kiev area at all that I've seen.
