What the fuck. Are they holding their own people hostage now?
They really want the civilians to get fucked, as shown by the reward money for attacking Russian tanks, instructions on how to drive a Russian tank, and other encouragements to put your ass in as much danger as humanly possible. Gotta ramp up that civillian kill count for PR purposes.

That sounds like electoral interference, what they claim Russia does but what these inbred imbeciles freely admit to.
No when the left do it its concerned citizens using their free speech to make their ideas heard. You know like when Obama came here telling everyone to vote against Brexit.

You mean like how we moved them back into Turkey the moment Cuba was resolved? If there's one fucking thing the US and Russia tend to keep their word on, it's nuclear de-escalation.
what you mean cuba started because the US got pushy? (point being most people know cuba as "russia threatening mainland usa for no reason at all", just like "evil putin is invading poor little ukraine for no reason at all").

depending on the timeframe that's exactly what happened. ukraine getting cozy with the west and then started medding right in their backyard. what's the russian equivalent to that to keep the balance?
or to put it differently, why is there even still a nato after the soviet union imploded? obviously russia wasn't much of a threat in the 90s...

Ah the consequences of the US cheering for a foreign war they had absolutely no intention of participating in
Shes going back to the agreement that removed nukes from the Ukraine. Says we promised them we'd protect them
Rut Rho. The excuse for WW III

I feel real sorry for the Ukrainian citizenry. From my understanding, the Ukrainian Government hasn't yet enacted a massive push to evacuate its major cities being threatened. While many can and have left on their own, there are many who can't. The elderly and sick come to mind.

Being trapped in a city about to be damned to dust by the Russians is not an enviable position.
My sympathy for the general Ukrainian population goes down with each passing day.

No, I mean backing out of a deal the moment you get what you want. Since doing that with nuclear weapons gives tacit justification for the other guy to start launching, both sides have a good track record of following through on their side of the bargain.

Is it over yet? The speed of the thread has slowed down to a crawl so it must be over.

BREAKING NEWS

"Zelensky says that Joe Biden promised to bring Nuclear weapons to Ukraine and that Ukraine will be inmediatly included in NATO".

"However, further reports says that Joe Biden never promised military support nor did he promise Ukraine's access to NATO."

Literally every fucking day, Ukraine claims that the west will suck it's dick in no time but then it's cockblocked by the west fearing that Russia will bomb the shit out of them.

MCU WAS A MISTAKE, BROS.
Okay but, hear me out: how brain rotten should you happen to be for compare war events with fucking cinematic comics fantasy? Jesus Christ... I don't want to have children. Not because I'll be a bad parent, but because of the degeneracy both me and them might to live among.
The comparing of fiction vs real event is not the problem its more that is done in the most absurdly surface empty level with 0 thought put behind it, its more of a sign that the person posting that is either a borderline or undiagnosed retard

We've already seen both Russians and Ukrainians fire at civies in cars trying to leave. Safest option was always to bunker down unless you got out day 1. Are you expecting the Ukrainians or Russians to divert manpower to lead civilians out safely?

Truly this would be the real sequel to WW1, shit-kicking off because of a Slavic blood feud, instead of that gay story expansion featuring some Austrian,
The Austro-Hungarians and the Supreme Ukrainian Council actually created and armed a unit of Galician (which was a crown land of Austria-Hungary) volunteer fighters called the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen (YCC) or the Ukrainian Legion to fight against the Russian Empire in 1914. The Battle of Mount Makivka is almost as important to the Ukrainian national identity as the Alamo is to Texans. One of its commanders was a young Austrian Archduke, Wilhelm von Habsburg who is known today as Vasyl Vyshyvani. He stayed with the Sich Riflemen after 1918 and kept fighting White and Red Russians for Ukraine's independence before going into exile because he regarded the Treaty of Warsaw between Poles and his chosen people as treason. He kept supporting Ukrainian independence and was a staunch opponent of both Stalin's and Hitler's policies during the interwar years and WW2. The former royal also spied for the Western Allies and was under close surveillance by the Gestapo during the global bloodshed. He survived the war in Vienna to be arrested, taken to Kiev and sentenced to life by the Soviets for his crimes against the USSR. He died in prison. Today he's regarded as one of Ukraine's heroes.
