I am not one to be paranoid of people easily, but if I was a Ukrainian soldier who has had to patrol for saboteurs, day and night, I would immediately arrest the guy or take him out just to be on the safe side. No sane civilian who isn't a journalist or militia would voluntarily migrate to the most dangerous part of the country without some sort of hidden intention.
This guy probably sees the Ukrainians like blue haired SJWs melting down over a trigger word rather than a people fighting an existential battle for the fate of their country.
