Gross Anna Johnson / The Fit Vegan Ginger / Creation Nutrition / Anna's Organics Lynchburg - Jesus Freak, orthorexic, creator of vegan food monstrosities, munches to avoid getting a job

I've seen some pretty disgusting food before, but this is the first time I've actually wretched just at pictures of food. Hell, I can't even call that food. It looks like the dumpster outside where I work.

Someone needs to get this girl a bacon cheeseburger already. She needs protein and carbs, badly.

Seriously, I had a genuine chuckle at her bible study. "Those around me have planned trouble. Now let it come to them. Let burning coals fall on them. Throw them into the fire, or into pits from which they cannot escape." is starred, underlined, and she's written in the margin,

"So fitting...IG hate... - 12-2-15"

It's interesting: I read IG as instagram, meaning she doesn't know where the spike of 'negative' comments are coming from yet.

Either the weens haven't gotten to her yet or people telling her she is overdoing it is a fairly common thing for her.

I think she knows. But don't worry, we're all just the devil.

Anna loves giving cutesy baby names to normal foods - blueberries become "bloobs," bananas are "nanas," noodles are "noods," cucumbers and zucchini are "cukes" and "zukes," and - my personal favorite - watermelon is fucking wallamalla.

Her professionalism is astounding. This infantile shortening of words will surely be the key to her success. Pro chefs will admire her for generations to come.

Just felt the need to note that loads of Instagram vegans refer to fruits and vegetables with almost all the same childish nicknames, which I find fucking nauseating.

15 drops of Stevia? Are you shitting on me? And people have been eating sweet tasting breakfast that is not cereal since forever, is called fucking fruit.
Everyone knows eating a lot of refined sugar is bad for you. And sugar is sugar - just because it originates in a banana doesn't mean it escapes carbohydrate metabolism. Even though fruit is relatively low in calories and high in fiber, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients....well, so is zucchini, but zucchini has less sugar. And too much sugar is bad for you - it can have harmful effects on metabolism and contribute to all sorts of diseases. All things being equal, zucchini is probably the healthiest choice. So, shredded zucchini for breakfast it is...and since I'm really in the mood for something sweet, I'll just add a little stevia. Well, maybe a little more stevia than that...eh, still bland.

Needs cinnamon.

Buy my cookbook?

ecause most parents aren't comfortable force feeding their kid and inpatient is expensive. Plus, those with EDs are sneaky little snakes who use tactics where they've made it look like they've eaten (as mentioned in this thread)...or they are just enablers and encourage the behavior. Sad, but true. :(

I've been thinking about this thread recently. If we don't even know Anna personally and can still easily see how sick she is, then why can't her family? Lurking in her Instagram feed is more than enough and living with her should yield 10 times the evidence. I wonder if her parents are convenience thinkers who see her insanity as a 'phase' some stupid shit along that line.

They could be just as fucked up as Anna is. Imagine that :c

There's the very strong possibility that, even if they see it, they don't think they can do much about it. You can't really rely on her parents knowing exactly what options are available, especially if she's just skinny as all fuck. They might be at the stage where they try to lace her food with more fat/calories if they can manage, but if she's the one doing all of her own cooking, they could just see it as a "nothing I can really do" sort of thing. It's hard when we don't know what day to day life is for her.

Milk and eggs as well. Nevermind that they are products harvested without harm to the animal, we must not touch animals at all!

Haha. About 13 or so years ago, I had a few photographs of dairy cows on my DevianTART account. I ended up taking them down because I was constantly attacked by vegan teenagers who would bitch and moan about how dairy is rape.

I find it interesting that most vegan Instagram accounts, even those who mostly post recipes and food, will frequently share photos of cute animals and talk about how much they love animals and how wrong it is to eat them, etc.. Anna hasn't mentioned animals once.

Anna does it, I think, because Vegan-ism/raw diets are one of the most restrictive diets out there. She probably feels comforted and in control with her limited intake.

Yes, I think this is possible as well. A lot of ED sufferers have some enabler in their life that influences their diet habits. A parent, a coach, etc. Her coach (before she quit) may see it as her making an effort to get lighter and more svelte that people like to see in ice skaters. The dad may see it as her being a step towards getting healthy.

There's such a thing as fashionable veganism (is that a word? Maybe?) and vegetarianism. You can divide this down to two types: the people who do it because everyone else does it, and the people who use it to enter a lifestyle where they can pretty much do whatever the hell they like to others. The lifestylers are only following for the look of it, to make themselves out to be a crusader against evil, a higher moral being that stands in judgement over all. It's exactly the same thing as those arsehole Christians who don't actually believe in God, but do believe in the church as a way to get them access to vulnerable people and fuck with them or hell, even SJWs who think that Sarah Nyberg is a good person. Much less obnoxious are the fashionable types, who just do it to conform. Or maybe genuinely just don't like the taste of animal products, and just find it easier to say that they're pro-animal rights than explain why they don't like them.

Anna is a vegan for two reasons:

1. It's an excuse for deliberately starving herself

2. It gives her a way to use high profile and influence to fuck with a heap of naive kids

For her to say that she cares about animals would mean that she cares about something other than herself, full stop.

It's hard to tell what's going on with Anna's family, but she's legally an adult and doesn't live with them. All we know is that her parents visit her sometimes - her mom took her to a doctor's appointment earlier this fall, and her dad was up for Thanksgiving. (She also has an older sister she no longer talks to very much.)

Even if we assume the best of her parents, if she declines to seek help voluntarily, there may be very little they can do until she becomes ill enough to justify medical guardianship via court order. Both guardianship and financial conservatorship are governed at the state level; because Anna and her parents live in different states, this process would be complicated.
