Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Doomcuck's "sources" place the blame for The Book of Fett on Robert Rodriguez, saying that the Mods were his idea.
I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the urgent breaking news on my phone just informed me that Mike Zeroh has confirmed Daisy will be replaced by Rachel Weisz in a series set ten years after Rise of Rey.

Breaking news.

Mike Zeroh.
Zeroh and Doomcuck sitting in a tree, s-p-e-w-i-n-g bullshit.

One last middle finger from Disney before Black History Month ends.

They know what they did, now they're just rubbing it in.
I still can't get over how much it fucking sucks whatthey did to Finn. Pulled the bait&switch with finn's whole character arc and it fucking sucks. They had the perfect fucking formula for a character and squandered it, possibly for potential chinabucks. A man that was a soldier for a terrorist militia, one that has raised him after kidnapping him as a baby, forced to fight against the guys that used to practically be his brothers after realizing how fucked up everything is. Early marketing stuff for force awakens really pushed finn as the potential "awakening" mentioned in the title of the movie but NOPE HAHA IT'S REY!! FINN'S NOW FUNNY MORON WHOYELLS WOO AND TELLS REY HE NEEDS TO TELL HER SOMETHING BECAUSE WE NEED MORE GIRL ROLE MODELS!

Honestly none of the ST characters were remotely compelling or interesting. Not sure why people bemoan Finn not getting some sort of glorious arc.
It's less of a "glorious arc" and more "they had a clear premise and just used it for a bait and switch for something worse because didney wars is fucking shitty"

Every character from TFA completely fell apart past their initial introductions (so what, 30 minutes into the movie?). They only really worked on paper as concepts. Rey's character traits make no sense considering her supposed backstory, Finn starts killing his stormtrooper teammates 20 minutes into the movie then gets reduced to comic relief, Kylo is massively incompetent and completely insane the entire time that shouldn't be trusted to lead people, and Poe is a non-character people say they like because they like Oscar Isaac.

Less than a minute into the video he says the word "Favreauverse". Doomcuck is still full of cope.

As Mauler pointed out, Finn starts killing Stormtroopers when they get into the TIE fighter and that might be (I have no interest in verifying) about 10 to 15 minutes in. I agree otherwise. A decent to talented writer can leverage those concepts into character drama, but no one cared to do so.

More like he's a corporate shill who needs to damage control since his fake sources taken from the worst takes on /tv/ damaged his credibility again.

Imagine trying to turn your hatebase into hatewatchers; it's such a stupid idea.

Because I find it entertaining for whatever reason, I've been watching more hot takes on how shitty the Starcruiser is and the irony of it all being that in addition to simply being everything taken out of GE...the Starcruiser actually would simply be a better experience if they didn't half-ass the need to visit Batuu in the first place. The ONLY justification they have is that it's the stupid ship retracing its maiden voyage and that's why they're going to this backwater planet when there's literally no need to do so otherwise. It isn't like there's anything really NECESSARY to do there anyway, as all there seems to be on top of a normal visit to GE besides guaranteed rides on Falcon and Rise is running around collecting QR code-printed coasters from cast members.

I mean, the Halcyon is supposed to be essentially a glorified blockade runner vessel and they had to shoehorn in a visit to the parks because they couldn't even make the ship itself interesting.

It fits with trying to move Luke's legacy onto Rey that they'd now just jump ahead to what the sequels should have been.

This is why it's something that can easily be made up, as well as seem plausible.

However, it's a franchise that has tried as best to keep casting consistent across ages. Using as many of the same actors as possible. Even if their age doesn't fit. As well as using CGI recreations of actors. So recasting the lead actress of the sequels with a well known older actress just doesn't make sense.

Also, Rachel Weisz is 51. Typical Hollywood would cast someone younger, unless it's really a side role for a new cast. Although KK, so maybe she wants an old Rey to be like her in the series.

One thing is for certain. If they did an old Jedi Master Rey series. Her star student will not be white, will be female and will have a dumb haircut.

Boba Fett's Book has a senior citizen playing a guy who's supposed to be around 40, so Rachel Weisz being way too old for the role is the most believable part of the story.

Or it could be that female stars that could pass for old Ridley are not in the 35-40 range. I complain about the gap between too young and middle-aged actors, but there was always a dearth of actresses in that age range to begin with.

It doesn't even make sense. Canonically Rey is like 20 in Rise of Palpatine, and Daisy is almost 30, so she would actually be the perfect age for a series set a decade later. Zeroh is a Sonic fandom-level retard.

Consoomers will have to wait longer for the next season of The Cabbage Batch according to The Direct.

Star Wars has been on a roll as of late. The franchise is thriving with its venture into Disney+ storytelling and shows no sign of slowing down. And it has not just been on the live-action side of things. In its time on the streaming network, the sci-fi universe has produced some excellent animated content. Among these animated adventures has been The Bad Batch.

The Clone Wars follow-up series follows a band of malfunctioning clones, who were not affected by Order 66. The crew is tasked with protecting a young unaltered clone (à la Boba Fett) named Omega, and from there the adventure unfolds.

At the time of its announcement, Season 2 of The Bad Batch was given a 2022 date with many assuming a spring release for the series. Well, despite this assumption, it looks as though the animated series could be slipping later into the year.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Later Than Expected

Reddit user BZPJMJ64 uncovered in issue 209 of Star Wars Insider that The Bad Batch Season 2 may not be coming as soon as fans had hoped.

In past issues of the magazine, the project was listed with a Spring 2022 release window. That tag has now been removed and replaced with a "Coming Soon" label, with no new specific release timing stated.

Waiting on Clone Force 99

While this will surely upset some fans, a Spring 2022 release date was never officially announced for Bad Batch Season 2. Yes, it appeared in official material like Star Wars Insider, yey the animated series had never been widely promoted to have that Spring release date.

With Obi-Wan Kenobi in the hopper for late May, a Spring release would not have made sense unless Disney wanted to double-up on their Disney+ Star Wars. This is something that hasn't happened yet, but many assume that eventually - with the sheer number of projects coming down the line - it will have to happen. However, that time is not now.

So when will fans see Clone Force 99 again? Well, it is looking more and more like July or August would be a perfect time. This late summer window would allow for Obi-Wan to be out of the way but would be before the supposed release of Andor sometime this fall.

It all would work swimmingly, but the later Disney pushes it, the closer the studio will get to having to break that double-up seal.

The Bad Batch Season 2 is set to debut sometime in 2022, but the exact timing remains unknown.

The creative bankruptcy over at Disney is unreal.

Typical Filoni and Kennedy design creativity. Just use rejected concept art or glue crap onto something familiar from the OT or PT. But I see consoomers already defending their need to buy these in bulk from the parks and hotel simply because it was on the Blandalorian, that and its being shilled extra hard at the parks due to the current merch shortage they're having.
