Damn they must not be that worried about some rando with a manpad if they're flying that low. I suspect the ukies will nab at least one or two that way if they keep it up.
Flying that low is much better for them if someone has MANPADS because the low altitude prevents the guy on the ground from seeing them long enough to be able to draw a bead and lock. Plus it gives you some cover from terrain in case the missile does lock and get launched.

When there's risk of air defense you always fly NOE (unless you're flying high and fast enough to where the risk is negiligible). The higher you are the further you can be seen and the more likely you are to get shot.

Put yourself in his oversized clown shoes for a minute. You are being mauled by a rabid emaciated bear and your drinking buddies who said they would, like, totally have your back and told you to keep poking it for a laugh have all scrambled away and are now promising they will starve the bear. That may very well starve in the coming months indeed, but it is of little comfort to you right now.

What would you do?
Scream about how the bear is destroying a Holocaust monument in hopes the Jews hire bear hunters to come save me?

Reuters says Ukraine and Russia were able to agree on the creation of humanitarian corridors. Zelensky's advisor Mykhailo Podolyak said that the two sides also talked about implementing a temporary ceasefire, restricted to only the places where humanitarian corridors would be created (cities), but they didn't manage to make that happen. Negotiations will continue sometime early next week, apparently.

I can't blame him for that honestly. Yeah it's super gay from our perspective, but when you're a small to medium power next to major one, you only have so many options.
The sanctions are going so quickly that eventually there won’t be any more sanctions to use, while Russia still has opportunities to escalate things. It’s a terrible strategy. They can implement a few at a time, but it shouldn’t be this hard, this fast. It just makes it so when things do escalate more, the only other option is war.

He's realized nobody is coming to help most likely. Ironically nearly all his neighbors being in NATO prevents it. I suspect if two or three of them actually worked together they could hold back the conventional attack, but since they're all NATO, they can't do shit.
Without NATO existing he would 100% have Poland join the war, Romania would almost certainly join, maybe Hungary as well as the tiny Baltic armies though probably not. They'd probably lose, but it would more of a fair fight.

I'd rather not, it's not comfy being in faggot's skin.

Laugh in EBANYI V ROT, apparently, and be hysteric as fuck for a certain amount of time at first, I'm not gonna lie

Oh I get that, but I'm just looking at the power dynamic angle. It's the same shit that led a lot of Eastern Europe to join in with the nazis in ww2. When you're a small power surrounded by big players, you only have so many hands to play.

2. I think he thought the Germans, Italians and other EU nations that rely on Russian energy wouldn't kill their economies for their American masters, and instead the war could be used to create rifts in the EU based on economic interests or at least delay a ban from SWIFT for a time. If this was his belief, he was wrong and the central Europeans fell on the sword the Americans handed to them. Initially this calculation was correct, but the EU states caved to American pressure.
The Europeans have been paying attention - America is losing interest, Russia is doing stuff, and the Balkans are getting rowdy again. I figure they opted to pull the trigger while the US was still engaged enough to help prop things up while they reshuffle their economies and adjust.

I suspect Moldova and Georgia would have joined in if that happened as well. It would be the perfect time to take back their disputed territories.

Lose what, though? It's not like Poles wouldn't have negotiate with us for a bit of the land at all. They'd be pretty happy taking Lvov back, that's for sure. I guess there's no need explaining why tho.

I was convinced this was a meme. It isn't:

Of course it has nothing to do with current happenings:
"This removal from Disney+ has nothing to do with the current crisis involving Ukraine and Russia."

Something with a contract. Srlsly.
"Unfortunately, it’s unknown how long the film will be unavailable on Disney+ in the US, but once it has completed its contract with Starz, it will then return to Disney+."
