I don't know if it will affect U.S. prices much as Russian imports only represent ~3% of US crude oil imports and ~1% of the total crude oil processed by US refineries. However, the knock-on effects of this whole ordeal on the global economy may still lead to higher prices (Fertilizer and semiconductor chip prices - Ukraine is home to half of the world's neon gas, which is critical for chip manufacturing - are still the larger concern for the U.S. in my eyes). For Europe though, it's going to be rough.
Right, but Europe is also banning Russian fuels. So they'll start buying from our sources. The 3rd largest oil producer has been effectively removed from the market overnight and OPEC told everyone to go fuck themselves

Most braindead reddit post I've ever read, and that is saying something

It's the fucking "I'd be a queer poet helping reeducate Capitalists in the new regime" thing only applied to military larping. Fucking amazing.

These idiots don't realize if they do end up over in the region trying to play Mercenary, they'd be given a gun and thrown out in front of the actual Ukrainians, and Russia wouldn't give two squirts of piss about gunning them down. Or worse, Russia would capture them, torture them for a while, and them film them recanting everything up to and including their US citizenship just to make the torture stop.

Our sources are the US itself, Canada, and Mexico. And all the crude is refined within our borders. We have a lot of power to tamp down on prices if Biden (or whoever) is willing to reinstate the oil export ban.

Got the same thing earlier today. They've explicitly made "misinformation" and "disinformation" violations of the Community Rules.

Can we petition the US government to collaborate with Big Tech to please spin up a Ministry of Truth just to fucking get it over with? They've already gone full masks-off in explicitly instructing people what to think and who to shun (and in which ways) when they deviate. Might as well formalize it and put Snopes out of business.

FACEBOOK ALLOWS PRAISE OF NEO-NAZI UKRAINIAN BATTALION IF IT FIGHTS RUSSIAN INVASION

The reversal raises questions about Facebook’s blacklist-based content moderation, which critics say lacks nuance and context.

FACEBOOK WILL TEMPORARILY allow its billions of users to praise the Azov Battalion, a Ukrainian neo-Nazi military unit previously banned from being freely discussed under the company’s Dangerous Individuals and Organizations policy, The Intercept has learned.

Without NATO existing he would 100% have Poland join the war, Romania would almost certainly join, maybe Hungary as well as the tiny Baltic armies though probably not. They'd probably lose, but it would more of a fair fight.
Wrong, if HOI4 taught me anything about Russia in a war it is that is struggles to fight multiple fronts at once if the countries at war with it aren't all in a faction together
What's with the ukies showing up dressed casually to these talks? It happened last time too. Is it some kind of "plucky underdog" move?
Some gay photo op stuff, oh look how casual we are for retards on Twitter.

On the other hand it might be a high IQ move to show Russians they aren't taking them seriously and are bluffing a reason not to take it seriously, like NATO support.

The problem with the latter is that Russia has already called that bluff a dozen times now.

Ukraine should really stop lying about shit, or at least go all in on lies and say they are taking Moscow in a week.

Bitch you did this a few days ago and gave out demands like you were the winners in this conflict. Man up and accept that the west isn't going to help you and accept the minimal demands from Russia, instead of shamelessly begging for Crimea (majority Russian) and the Donbass back while not giving anything in return.

This guy should've stayed on comedy.
Zelensky probably figured that since the US put him in power, and his government paid millions to children of US officials, we had his back with the full force & might of the US Armed Forces.

LOL

Nope.

Sorry, faggot, should've paid attention to what happened in Afghanistan. Hope you have better luck than those guys did!

I was convinced this was a meme. It isn't:

Of course it has nothing to do with current happenings:
"This removal from Disney+ has nothing to do with the current crisis involving Ukraine and Russia."

Something with a contract. Srlsly.
"Unfortunately, it’s unknown how long the film will be unavailable on Disney+ in the US, but once it has completed its contract with Starz, it will then return to Disney+."
About a few hours ago I was telling myself, man TPTB seem intent on cancelling a nation, but this goes beyond that. They want to cancel a whole culture now.

Some part of me hopes that Zelensky reaches the "they're gonna kill me no matter what" stage and he releases every single piece of dirt he has on anybody ever.

totally unsupported paradrop on a fortified location like the airbases.

Even that is in doubt, I've posted it twice before but the Russians posted video evidence (VDV troops on and around the Airport on the 24th, the day after the Ukrainians beat them off supposedly) that the VDV didn't lose the airport to the Ukrainians and held it until the Northern thrust linked up with them. I'm inclined to believe it considering the Ukrainians never posted and video or photos of this pretty significant victory or video from the airport fighting/aftermath.

Who knows who's telling the truth, but IMO it seems weird they wouldn't want to film dozens of VDV casualties and a retaken airport when they post footage of much smaller successes.
