November can't get here soon enough. I know a lot of House Democrats are retiring and I've heard that it's going to be a red wave, but can I get any insight on how's it going to go down? I know its the norm for the president's party to lose the midterm and Biden is seemingly going out of his way to antagonize the average Joe, but what's a realistic outcome after the dust has settled at the ballot box?

Doomers will say ballot machine go brrrrrr and therefore Democrat 1000 Year Reich, but honestly I am expecting not a red wave but the "red" to still make yuge gains and have a majority, at least federally. I say this because there are still plenty of places that will vote blue no matter who before and after literal death.

A real "red wave" is more likely to occur in local and state-centric elections.
