My man got gibbed, reminds me of the vid I saw of some Ukrainian where his head was just gone with a bit of pulped neck remaining. (I think it was an armed civilian, can't find the video again since I don't speak Ukrainian and wouldn't know what to search for).

Castro and his men were brutal at least in his rise to power, reminiscent of the Chechens I suppose. Like Stalin, he was also weird, very focused on making Cuba a milk producer, and loved cheese and ice cream Bronze Age Mindset?. Communism is a retarded idealogy, but choosing the Russians over the Americans is a good decision in my book.

The problem is that for sanctions to work, people need to have a high standard of living that's crippled by the sanctions, and be willing and able to oust their current leaders responsible for sanctions. Turns out when a place is already kind of a shithole, people are willing to make do. While the "oust their current leaders" part is something not many are able to do as it's really fucking hard most of the time, as all the leader really has to do is treat his bodyguards and their families better than the rest of his peons.

Those "cremation" trucks look like trash incarnation trucks one would have at remote logging or mining sites where trucking dumpsters in and out would be too much of a pain but I've been told that's not really in the Russian army's MO so I don't know what to think.
