The 21st century really is going to just be a slow slide into Hell, isn't it? Look at all the shit that has happened in just 20 years and change.
By the end of the century mankind will either be extinct or back to square 1 civilization wise, living like primitives among the ruins, it's probably happened before which is where myths like Atlantis come from.
Alternatively I'm going to be REALLY optimistic and say that maybe this will kickstart another 1980s style cultural moment for the US much like how arguably the Russian invasion of Afghanistan was one of the things that led to the election of Reagan, America is at our best when we have an enemy to be against.
Except that Woke is firmly on the anti-Russian side, this isn't hurting Woke and things can't go back to being 80s like if Woke continues to have a foothold.
