Hey we have already seen how many countries silently drop the hated "vaccine mandates" while dealing with the war in Ukraine. Heck Macron is currently in an upswing as his biggest rival Le Pen is frantically shredding advertisment with Putin. And no one is talking about #blackfaceHitler anymore too. I wonder what was promised to Putin to launch such a big distraction (sorry tin foil reaction).
It doesn't need to be a planned action. Something big happened and everyone seizes the opportunity to quietly sweep their fuck ups under the rug. Covid shit needs dropped more than ever as the fossil fuel crisis is going to cripple world economies so you can't really afford to keep it in place

Going full boar into tin foil hat territory, the thought crossed my mind that this is how TPTB get us fully into 1984 territory with always being at war with Euroasia or EastAsia and us not having any communication or information from those areas that aren't goverment approved. Ultimately this is the start of a segmented and fractured internet in the West.

There, tin foil hat off.

What went down in Ukraine isn't even interesting; it's really a textbook diplomatic fuckup. Mutual escalation by two great powers, using a satellite state as the staging, ended in war. Holy shit, can't believe it, this is as unpredictable as getting diarrhea after eating a 20-pack of Chicken McNuggets.
There we go, there's the correct answer. The level of Putin simping I've seen on display in this thread is frankly indistinguishable from Reddit shit in the willingness to sign on with anything as soon as the buzzword buttons get pushed.

I'll make it simple for you, you peanut-brained dweeb. When a population is limited to the knowledge fed to them by a government, they simply can't know / be aware that things are different and could possibly be better.

Russians have more access.
Chinese less so, but still more than North Korea.
North Koreans probably mostly don't know what it is.

Even if you are right, why wouldn't Putin and his henchemen just brutalise them like China did?

The world isn't America where BLM can go planet of the apes unopposed.

I can confirm his words though, people there en masse, even in face of current sanctions will not coup Vlad by any means. Even if shit will hit like in 1940s. Therefore stop demonstrate your reddit heritage, dolboeb.
It's almost like I might know what i'm talking about in regards to Russia and the hardy nature of its people. Years of distrust of the west seems to be a theme. I've been around some, and known a few others.

Mainly wanted to piggyback on this comment. Russians are lovely people, and if you happen to know of any around, or if you've played games with any online, please, reach out and get in contact with them. Let them know that not all of us are against them. I know i've been talking to an old friend of mine that lives in Vladivostok. Played wow with him years ago before he moved there.

Putin, in my opinion, committing war crimes etc would just be further pushing a downfall. Exactly because of why you said, because people care too much now. The shit will be broadcast around the world, and unless Russia have some brilliant propoganda they ain't gonna be able to justify invading Ukraine to the western world in this day and age... So anything considered 'inhumane' will be used against him by the west.

We would be on Alpha Centari today if not for the Late Bronze Age collapse. Why? No ones know for sure. We don't know how much we forgot.

I've heard it boiled down to the mediterranean at the time being almost entirely reliant on international trade (Tin to make bronze only came from Britain at the time, that's a long walk from the med), and attacks on the trade routes leading to cascading system failures in the affected countries. Bandits attack trade, no trade makes famine, hungry citizens turn to banditry, attack neighboring countries' trade, spreading the collapse. A nice feedback loop.

where? at best you gonna find "he probably has reasons" unless your standpoint is LOLPOOTINDUMB. there's more pro-ukraine shilling than pro-putin here. and just because people call zelensky dumb and expect the ukrain to lose doesn't mean they're suddenly pro-putin.

nuance, nigga.

Nah if you like them call them names and subtly insult them. Being openly kind is strange and foreign for Slavs. You'll frighten them.

They do, though it's a little matter of time till everyone will reach the MIR cards that were produced for quite a while now.
And that's fine. But now think of ALL the things they are without now, then think about all the people that might be pissed about that until they find a solution to each.

If we were simping for Putin we would be going Slay queeeennn. and making up shit about the grim reaper of magadan. i think most of the posters here are on Ukraine's side. but they find the sheer weight of the western propaganda machine being put behind Ukraine suspicious, we have gone from #truckernazis and #bashthefash to the media and the elites begging people to join far right militias overnight.

Seriously, Russia are also lying their asses off and spreading as much propaganda as they can, but so is Ukraine, and only one of those two sides is getting everything banned and flagged down as misinformation.
WTF? This sooooooo against the Wakanda convention and will not be allowed to stand.

“During times of war, all parties are to abandon deception in all forms” - Stan Lee, 2nd paragraph of the Wakanda Alliance Accords.

Kind of bullshit really, the Bronze age peoples innovated at a snail's pace.

If all those god king civilizations survived then we would be in a much more aristocratic and conservative stage of civilization.

Sometimes what drives innovation are ideas and historical events that shape those ideas.

China never moved from the middle ages in the 19th century because they thought the world ouside of China was a shitty place or Confucianism didn't allow innovation and that's because the Tang dinasty ended in an ethnic war of anhiliation between the Han and the Central Asian peoples (An lushan rebellion killed more than 13 million people).

And that's why when China was about to become a colonial power (15th century Ming Dinasty) they decided to scuttle those big ass ships, willingly forget how to build them and close the country to the rest of the world and thus dooming China's development.

And? How will that be a problem?

I don't think he gives a fuck about what soyjack in commiefornia thinks about him.

Ivan will think good things about him, or he'll win a gulag vacation.

Orbán had been non stop blasted by the west and we give no fucks. Are you saying Putin is weaker than Orbán, lol?
