Exactly my thoughts. At worst, it will be a temporary setback for the ruskies and Putin, nothing permanent.
That seems most probable. Same thing happened in 2008 with the war in Georgia, which also coincided with the subprime mortgage crisis.

People still believe that US has the same pull as the Pre-Reagan era. They don't.
No surprise. Decades of self-destructive policy, and doubling down as the only response to its mounting failures....
maybe the globalists elites will get a "great reset" after all, just not the way they envisioned.

China will make some show of sanctioning Russia but they're neighbors, and Russia is a huge market for China. If Russia isn't completely retarded they'll start dealing outside of SWIFT and tell the West to shove it.

As far as the claims of "Azov/Ukes using civilians as human shields" does anyone have any links or videos showing this?

Someone mentioned a clip of civilians being forced back into a building that was under artillery fire and people being conscripted at gunpoint but I don't want to buy something I don't see with my own eyes.

What does everyone think about Mariupol?

What we (think we) know:
Mariupol is surrounded by the Russian army. No food/water/electricity is getting in. Civilians aren't allowed to leave (more on that later). The Russian forces contain paramilitary units from Donbass.
The city is being defended by both the Ukrainian army and the Azov Battalion, but everyone online seems to think that the Azov are in charge or at the very least acting with impunity.
The Azov Battalion are responsible for atrocities in the Donbass region, including rape, murder and crucifixion.

What we don't know:

Who is stopping the civilians from leaving. The Ukrainians say the Russians are stopping the civilians from leaving and, if it is true, I suppose it is to stop Azov fighters from dressing up as women and popping up elsewhere. The Russians say the Ukrainians are responsible which, if true, is probably to use them as 'human shields' to guarantee that the Russians can't just level the place with artillery.

What is clear is that this a recipe for disaster. The Donbass paramilitaries in particular will have nothing but hatred for the Azov boys, quite rightly. The Azov boys must know that they will have a rough time if captured which will make an already nasty set of lads even nastier, and desperate.

There is no water, no food, no electricity and no escape. The civilians are going to be there for the duration of the fight as the most personal, toxic grudges of the Donbass conflict are being settled around them.

As you can tell, I think it is going to be the worst battle of the war. Does anyone have any news or rumours they've picked up from there? Is there any chatter on the Russian sites that we may be missing? I have no connection to Ukraine besides a few former colleagues but I am genuinely worried about the civilians stuck in Mariupol.

Also, here is a link to a BBC fluff piece on the brave Neo-Nazis.

We have so much that we don't know and only one thing that we do. It is certain that you must rate this post informative or your mother will die in her sleep tonight.

I have been scantly checking in on this thread. What the absolute fuck is going with all these random Russian services being closed by corporations. This gives the same creepy vibe as when every single company became BLM activists simultaneously in 2020.

Did I miss something, or is this just typical corporate virtue signaling?

Its not just culture.

Its that America is a different place. It is run by jews, so jude backed causes magically don't get popo attention.

Hungary had a big unhappy moment with the previous libtard leader, Gyurcsány.
Huge protests. And not jan 6 larp shit.
Guess what happened, riot police.
Guess what did not happen: regime change.

He was eventually voted out, but doubt that's feasible in Russia.
Biden blatantly stole an election, dropped a massive senile mail in shit on US muh democracy, and than wiped the shit off his kneeslapping balls on the magapedes' faces.

Biden is still in power. Putin's subjects have less guns and less culture to fight.

He is so wrong.

Like the retards that think that if only Bergoglio steps down, the Church would return to tradition. The guy that will probably be the next pope is a lot more radical and they designed it so by naming 1000% globohomo bishops and purging traditionalists from any power choke points.

Russia is the same: his successor will likely not be as nice as him.

can't believe they look worse than the Hitler youth in 1945 Berlin. same energy too only without Zelensky present to send them off, likely because he'd be shaking a lot more than just his hand if he was there.

The last ditch German defence was the Volksturm. Dr Felton suggests it was quite effective despite its mixed and often ancient weaponry. Panzerfausts were lethal to Soviet tanks and there were many 50 yo Great War veterans. I am not so sure this Ukrainian civilian militia rises to that level. Yet it need not. Potentially Putin might grab a deal mixing neutrality with the two 'Republics' occupying their full oblasts. That said, the Russian Pres seems fixed and stony in his attitude. Nothing short of a vassal Ukraine seems acceptable. Maybe, maybe not.

At least other powers seeking to compete with the West now know, do not trust your technology infrastructure to them or rely on them.

As for Silicon Valley, it was a giant grift for being unpaid employees of the Department of Defense lol.

Free Speech lolberts btfo and the anti war socialists have had the last laugh on that.

That's fine. If Russians are happy with having only what they need, no problem. But will they be?
I don't pretend to know Russians. If they overthrow their government so they can get back on Xbox Live and resume imports of Star Wars Funko-Pops, well, you know, America's already won this war.
