It would be wise to remember that nationally, ordinary people are paying an average of $0.23 more for a gallon of gas this week but gas stations are paying $0.68 more to provide that gallon to customers. They're getting fucked just as badly as we are.

Friendly reminder that Novavax's COVID vaccine (no mRNA, BTW) STILL hasn't been approved by the FDA, despite them applying for EUA on January 31st. Meanwhile, both Pfizer's and Moderna's vaccines hit EUA less than a month after they submitted their applications in late 2020. Funny how THAT isn't "pandemic profiteering", but a few gas companies raising their prices is. Almost like TPTB are shifting the blame for high gas prices or something.

Wage growth was only 0.5%, so with inflation you're not making more, and when it's that low it seems like we're back to the Obama era where people are just working to make ends meet. The employer is retaining power the employee had for almost the past 4 years.
