Claims that the Ukraine army is fighting AZOV/AIDAR themselves.
copy-pasta: "The nationalist battalions pose a big threat not only to the Russian soldiers, but also to the local civilians, who were kept hostage in the city, as well as to the current regime in Kiev and President Volodymir Zelenskiy. The crowds of armed nationalists have gained power in Ukraine during the last few years. "

Keep in mind that the source is pro-Russia so could be bogus.

This shit going to derrail into a Ukrainian Civil War years later.

This one is pretty crazy: Sky News journalists were fired on in Ukraine. Chief correspondent Stuart Ramsay was wounded, cameraman Richie Mockler was hit twice but his body armor saved him. After watching the footage it's pretty miraculous no one was killed. The car is fucking shot to shit in the video.

I highly recommend watching the footage here: https://news.sky.com/story/sky-news...-violent-ambush-in-ukraine-this-week-12557585
Ah yes just shooting up civilian cars, because of "le Russian saboteurs", or what?
On the other hand they misidentified what seemed to be a warning shot, so there is that...
Heavy "nnnnng, it's coming right for us *pew pew pew*" energy.

Ah, that's probably easy to prove.

Maybe it really was Russians, but they mistook them for Gypsies trying to loot the destroyed convoy lol

Can anyone reach https://www.rt.com/ at the moment?
The Website is unreachable from Germany, but DNS still resolves.
Trying with different Tor exit nodes doesn't help.

Is this the Ukrainian programming socks brigade at work?

I meant it exactly not how you put it. We only heard of a contract (may be LARP, may not be), but not how those volunteers are (to be) deployed or if they are given uniforms etc.
So mercenary treatment is still on the table IMHO.

How to access RT.com

If you can’t get news from RT due to government restrictions, here are some alternative ways to access our content

Serious attempts have been made in Western nations to silence RT, following Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine. The EU Commission has given regulators in the bloc’s nations powers to ban the media outlet. If you’ve faced difficulties accessing RT’s content due to those restrictions, here are some steps you can take to bypass them.

1. If you’re reading RT on your smartphone, you can use our Android app, which can be downloaded via this link.

2. On your PC, you can use the Tor browser, which can be downloaded here. RT’s website address in Tor remains the same: www.rt.com. If Tor doesn’t work for you, or is unavailable via regular means, you can resolve this issue by sending an empty email to gettor@torproject.com and you will be sent the necessary link.

3. Another way of circumventing restrictions is to use the Psiphon censorship-bypass tool, which can be downloaded for Windows, Android, and other systems. Alternatively, you can use a VPN service of your choice. (Windows download here, direct Android download here, and other options here).

4. You can also stay in touch with RT through Telegram by subscribing to RT’s soon-to-be-reborn channel there.

EDIT: damn, ninja'd again. I'll get you yet, Beauty of the White Woman!

Amen to that. And not only that, this whole thing runs the risk of 1. A major blowback that might not just be economics and 2. A lot of people seeing Russia and them being purged and sanctioned as some sort of rallying cry, which I really don’t think the leaders of NATO and the EU and USA really want.

If this doesnt lead to outright war you better believe the Russians are going to Arm everyone of our enemies to the teeth. Whoever we decide to bomb next will be fully loaded the same way we did ukraine.

Yes, all of those fucking horses in a war that was known specifically for its heavy utilization of tanks and one side being able to sneak tanks through terrain that was considered to be impassable terrain to tanks and thus bypassing all of the major fortifications built to stop tanks in other routes. Look upon the fields and behold all my horses.

German logistics were still heavily horse based. They never motorized their logistical train like America, which built a fuck ton of trucks, and Russia, who the US gave a fuck ton of trucks.

This was multiple days ago, just a few days into the conflict.

North Korea is a poverty-ridden hellhole because its ruling dynasty is a repressive, Communist tyranny, and will not allow anyone the marginal bits of freedom needed to rise to even a late 18th century standard of living. They could rise to at least a Chinese standard of living if the Kim regime would just take its boot off people's necks once a week.

Putin's not exactly the world's friendliest, most easygoing autocrat, but he's not a Kim or a Castro. Cutting Russia off from the EU or the USA is going to be disruptive, but there is in the end not a single crucially important trade good or natural resource we can deny them.
They're already targeting crucial resources with plans to do so more and more so in the long term. The only thing russia can really do is peel off the bandaid faster so we can't ween off as comfortably as we'd like and even then the nation's hit hardest have already thrown their support in for sanctions

The Russians will be slowed down even more when the Ukrainians begin their offensive in Kharkov.

People say that the offensive will be a disaster but I have my doubts.

Lol ukrainians are not going on the offensive bro...maybe retaking a local village but kharkov is more less surrounded

Was still an era of mostly horses

You raise a good point tho

I feel like Russia raised its expectations really high with the 3 day talk
I think it's dumb to be attempting to critique anything on the operational level at this point, given the information we have.

Even military analysts can't speak beyond rank speculation right now and we're just autistic laymen on a forum that makes fun of internet retards.

I dunno...this place is pretty smart.

The happenings forum has consistently been ahead of the rest of the world. Whether it be Covid, Volcanos, supply chains or war.

This place is way ahead of the curve on everything. That tells me the IQ here is a bit higher than the most. When a topic gets posted there is a high probability of it happening within a few weeks of posting

I've literally made money on stock positions because of this place

If we know about it, and it hasn't happened yet, the Russians know too. Gopnik memes aside, their intelligence services are actually pretty good. They also have air supremacy. Do the math.

I’m passing through the Yankee north and the packaged propaganda showing on the Sinclair owned station of healthy looking but vaguely sad jcpenney kid models posing “fleeing” or trying to look very uh, I dunno clean but refugeeish is fucking bullshit. What the fuck is wrong with people for falling for this shit. Probably as soon as the camera was off the midget playing a Ukraine kid lit up whatever passes for a Newport over there and bitched about craft services not having smelly enough food. How are they going to piss off everyone once they get to an American Best Buy if they don’t have rancid enough sweat on their generous ass hair.
Yeah, Globohomo is putting its entire elbow on this.

As much as I can understand the Ukrainian plight, just 15 minutes of MSNBC is also incredibly off-putting to the cause. For what it's worth, remember that this is the same force that cruelly and relentlessly targeted Americans for their sincere beliefs, now pointed outwards.

Y'know, they could have said this before Russia was forced to invade to stop it.

Above is probably the reason for this. NATO has come forward and said that Ukraine joining them is officially off the table. They're being hung out to dry.
>Ukraine's NATO membership is not on the alliance's agenda today
>TODAY

And now it never will be.

Can't blame the guy for trying, but Euros (the ones who matter, not dumbasses going to demonstrations) know this is bullshit and have no fear that antique Soviet tanks are about to zerg rush Germany. They're afraid of getting sucked into WW3.
Tussia showed how poor their army is. Europe lost all of its fears of the russians not stopping at the polish border.

German logistics were still heavily horse based. They never motorized their logistical train like America, which built a fuck ton of trucks, and Russia, who the US gave a fuck ton of trucks.
cant use trucks if you barely have enough fuel for the tanks.
