Any realistic take has to acknowledge this, and ask its men to die for nothing.
Yeah the only reason Ukraine was fighting was to see if they could buy enough time to see if any other country would send troops to help drive the Russians out, but NATO straight up said.
"Fuck that, you can have javelins if you want but until they cross the Polish border we ain't sending troops lol"
All European nations are on the same idea, at this point its very clear they won't get much beyond javelins, ammo and other infantry weapons, and with this Russia is now also sure there won't be any other country meddling specially since their goal is not total occupation and might start going ham on the offensive.
While i support the idea of a country defending itself from foreign invaders at this point with all western nations refusing to join the war is just lost, Zelenskky is just shoving people into the tank treads to slow them down so he can keep his job.

Raytheon makes the FGM-148 Javelin. Before Putin decided to start a conventional war in Europe this squad use, light infantry Anti-Tank missile fell under the heading of "cool shit bro".

It's now destroying BMPs, T-72, and even shooting down attack helicopters. It's gone from "cool shit bro" to "holy SHIT bro!".

I've been banging on the drum for YEARS that the Javelin ATM was a paradigm shift in modern warfare and have been called a retard for YEARS for it. Including by Russian shills in this very thread.

Hurr Durr, Mindlessobserver, you have a cow as your avatar. There is no way a man portable rocket has made the tank obsolete.
>Shakes cane

You whippersnappers with your fancy Javelin ATGM bullshit! Back in my day we shot at T series tanks with LAW rockets and AT4's, and by God we were thankful for them!

>hobbles back inside to have some ice cream.

Can coke even prevent its production and sale in Russia? They product most of their products around the world locally usually under licence rather than one central factory. If they recinded the licence for whoever produces it in Russia (assuming they can under the contract for this sort of event) then who they going to go crying to if they don't stop production?
Coke has some really screwy history with Russia going back to the Soviet days. Apparently Coke was a favorite of the Politburo and they basically sought to bootleg it. The History was so bizarre that it factored into a number of Cold War comedies such as Billy wilder's marvelous "One, Two, Three" starring James Cagney
and of course there is this classic scene from Dr. Strangelove that nicely illustrates the shear power of the Coca Cola Company
I'm betting Putin welcomes a return of "Kremlin Cola"

IMO Ukraine is gonna lose, but it's not lost. The odds of Russia managing to keep a hold of a very recently acquired puppet, that they got through a war that caused tens of thousands of deaths, while going through a massive economic crisis from the result of the sanctions is pretty low.

I'll be shocked if Ukraine is still a Russian puppet state in 5 years.
Nobody but strawmen are suggesting that Ukraine is “winning” or that they will “win” the war conventionally.

case and point:
Ukraine is not going to lose, twitter and reddit told me that NLAWS and Javelins can blow the entire Russian army to kingdom come and that they're invincible weapons.

Just spam the shit out of NLAWS and Javelins like in Age of Empires and see how in a week you'll be sodomizing Vlad with a fucking NLAW while his generals watch in horror.
The territory is ungovernable, Russia is fucked for a generation.

It hasn't. Active Protection Systems. They are currently retrofitting the US fleet of armored vehicles with Trophy to defeat weapons like it.

What it has done is make old gear without APS extremely vulnerable. Yet another bit of tech gadgetry to have or you will be dead as dicks on a modern battlefield.

Hell, Zhukov loved Coke and reportedly caused them to make a clear variant so he could write it off as vodka or water.

Russia winning is Ukraine not being in NATO.
Even if Ukraine stays a bombed out lawless wasteland forever that is still a WIN for Russia.

Yes, all of those fucking horses in a war that was known specifically for its heavy utilization of tanks and one side being able to sneak tanks through terrain that was considered to be impassable terrain to tanks and thus bypassing all of the major fortifications built to stop tanks in other routes. Look upon the fields and behold all my horses.

The Panzer and SS Divisions were fully motorized, but the bulk of the rest of the German army of was still using horses for their logistics.

The eternal war between armor and armor defeating munitions.

You know, watching this conflict, I wonder if the Russians fell for the same thing that armchair generals and never-served milspergs do.

They take the press releases and "expose's" about American munitions and vehicles at face value.

If they have been, thinking that we've been doing the same thing they do (Oh, the T-72 can TOTALLY go underwater to cross rivers!) and making it all look like it's better than it is.

They were shocked as fuck in 1991 when the equipment that everyone had spent 5 years ragging on how it'd explode in flame the minute it was deployed to anywhere but an armory or motorpool or airfield turned out to enable the US Army to fucking ROFLstomp the Iraqis.

I wonder if now they're all shocked again that "complete piece of shit" systems made in the USA are just running roughshod over everything.

Ukraine seems to be acting very erratically with Zelensky condemning the organization he wants to join and the defense minister declaring victory. Is it because Russia's now torching cities or something else?

Eh, maybe better than an actively hostile NATO member, but having a lawless wasteland full of vengeful desperate people on your border is a recipe for very serious problems, especially when creating it came at enormous cost.

Ukraine has been told since 2014 that NATO or the West will help them fight the Russians.
Zelenskyy is close to Biden for totally legal and not corrupt reasons.
Ukraine was told that if the Russians did anything, NATO and the EU would save them.
None of that happened.
Basically the Ukrainian government was assured they would be helped, felt emboldened by that, told Russia to take their best shot, and when they did, no one showed up to help.

Because this website started to document Chris Chan and those who are weird on the internet, you guys have Reddit, twatter, Facebook, discord, whatever billion other fucking websites like Ihavenevertouchedavagina.incel to politically sperg
.
Remember one thread got so heated the fbi contacted our dear feeder.
I think in order to be a member of the farms you have to demonstrate a decent knowledge of one lolcow within a month and not just typing “Julayyy!”
All this politics shit needs to get off the fucking farms.
Funnily enough, the A&N thread is more bants restricted, just go there. Or just go through the highlights to see the important updates and that sam hyde is the ghost of kiev twenty times in a row. We can all agree not to fedpost, and these containment threads serve to keep the politics outside of the cow threads in theory. If this side of the farms becomes such a huge burden then Null will simply shutter these sections of the site and issue a dictum of no more politics, until then chill.

The defense minister said they had a "breakthrough" and that they where going to win, and unless that breakthrough is an old soviet nuke they never found when they took them i don't really see a way out of this and im thinking is just the pressure making him snap

Does anyone else have some reservations about this whole 'canceling of Russia'? I think that Russia's invasion is completely unjustified, but I'm not onboard with how we have all of these corporations messing with the lives of Russian civilians. America's goal should be to get Russia to end its invasion by using sanctions to cripple the Russian government (optimistic, but that's all we can do other than giving the Ukrainians weapons). The only thing that will really hurt them is targeting their energy industry, which is where the government gets most of its funding. Doing this will probably hurt the average Russian civilian to some degree, but it's better than the alternative. It's like using guided munitions to destroy an arms factory in a city vs. carpet bombing a city that happens to have an arms factory in it.
