Idk, I haven't heard the Ukies being dehumanized, apart from those nazi guys who do seem to be literally neo nazis (lot of talk in the West about how Russians should all be collectively and individually punished tho).

Surrender gets a bad rep because everybody wants to imagine they'd be Rambo fighting a glorious and righteous war where the good guys ultimately win and sacrifices are heroic and meaningful - diving on a grenade to save your bros instead of screaming for your Mommy while bleeding out from a new hole in your guts because you got shot by friendly fire in all the confusion.

The reality of war is it's usually pointless murder, the good guys rarely win, and dying for [insert cause here] is almost always fucking dumb because you can't achieve anything when you're dead. It's up to Ukies whether they think this is worth it, and I wish them well, but the long history of warfare teaches us that surrendering is often the least bad option, it doesn't mean you're a coward or you've lost forever, and you can be a far bigger pain in your enemy's ass when you're actually alive to do stuff and have children and a future.

Personally, I'd rather have more Ukiebros alive and well in this world than less, which is more than I can say for Voloydiyamyr Zelenskyyy or however the manlet is spelling his name today. Urging your people to heroic acts of resistance is great if it has a hope in hell of working, but it looks like that's no longer the case here.

Mariupol is currently a shit show to witness because apparently only few people have actually been able to leave through the supposed humanitarian corridor that was pacted, holos Say that it's because ruskis dont respect the ceasefire and ruskis say that it's because holols are denying access to leave.

Again, missing the point. Most people are 'niggercattle normalfags'. Just coz the people you know know how these things work, doesn't mean that's the general consensus. Stop using the ability to bypass internet restrictions as a reason to have a valid reason to censor the internet.

I miss it when the internet was uncensored. Those days won’t come back though.

Why would he think that? Of course that isn't the case, many Russians don't even believe that but it is a valid justification. Declaring war without saying anything and walking over the border is much worse. Having even a shit justification gives propagandists something to work with.

America had a very weak justification for the Iraq war and overthrowing Gaddafi, but it was still a justification.

Whatever you think of this war, the worst mistake you can make is just assuming someone like Putin is stupid/crazy because it easily allows you brush him off as such and not who he really is - a pretty keen strategist.

He blew out his economy for what seems to be an increasing war that the Russians will have to carpet bomb creating unworkable land for the years to come. Cut off from sanctions from the west how the fuck can they sell of the resources that they will plunder out of the land? None of this seems smart. By the time Ukraine is up and going could be decades, and the way technology is moving it may as well be 100 years. While the west bolsters its military and intercontinental missile defense. Putin fucked up and fell for bait.
