Also, with all the sanctions and Russia being kicked out of everything, I'm also surprised that Russia hasn't been propped up as "fighting for everyone who refuses to go along with the established narrative of TPTB". Given Paul goes on about things like cancel culture and going after people who refuse the vaccine, it'd be right up his alley.

I've seen a couple of posts about how ApplePay and similar services being discontinued in Russia showcases the threat of a future despot ruler in the US/EU using the same technique to shut down dissent in a cashless society.
