All of this is true. But personally I think it has much more to do with the fact that I highly doubt Harris has gotten his dick sucked in years. You're absolutely correct, but sadly, a lot of people fall for his kinds of videos because if there's one thing he's good at, it's poisoning the well and trying to make those he takes issue with look like retards. It's the main reason he almost never leaves the controlled comfort of an edited video or the woke circlejerk of Twitter when it comes to politics; he knows he'd likely get schooled by any half-decent orator. To call him a pseudo-intellectual would be an insult to pseudo-intellectuals.
I do agree with most of this video and I think it's interesting he makes arguments I haven't really heard before. Like praising Deus Ex for not having a hacking minigame because it's pointless busywork.

His longest video before this was 2 and a half hours long. 3 and a half hours long is much closer to Mauler's 4-5 hour video length.
Youtube recommends videos based on shit you already watched, a quick glance at your recent activity shows that you are active in the Nexpo/horror yt thread so you must watch those kind of videos. Youtube sees that you like spooky longform content and recommends you similar videos watched by the largest demographic that watched the video you saw. It's no secret that reddit bugmen love 2spoopy shit and Hbomber is reddit incarnate. Youtube assumes you are also a reddit bugman that hasn't watched Hbomber and his videos end up in your recommended. There are a few other quirks such as Hbomber being an infrequent uploader causing him to have large view spikes which does some algorithm fuckery but that is the general gist of it.
You are correct , both Mauler and Hbomberguy make videos that are unncecesarily long but the difference is that hbomberguy seems to know that is something bad...... mauler makes his videos longer out of spite lol.
