This is the dangerous phase now. Battle lines have been drawn. The conflict has become normalised. Even Vlad's 'incursions' in to killing civilian women and children as they were told they could retreat. What a monster!
There will be no NATO troops. No No-Fly Zone. No one coming to save the poor Ukies. Their very hunky and oh so handsome leader will continue to use his people as bargaining chips. But fat lot of good it will do. Everyone knows how this plays out. Hopefully it will end soonish. But I think we got another 6 months of this shit before anyone admits defeat.
Putin is playing the long game of atttrition and he will win. Ukraine can not win this. Yes, it will damage Russia and its place on the international stage, but the clever clever politicians in power in the west already made sure that was a given. Putin is kind of backed in to a corner. But he's got more hands of poker to play yet.
It was interesting following the arrse thread to get the Brititsh perspective on all of this, but now even that is all the same and all played out. I'm going back to work. It's been fun shitposting and I hope I haven't been too much of an annoying drunken cunt (don't answer that).
I guess from here we just watch the news and post when the odd outrage comes up. But as I said, it's normalised now and whatever little outrages there are, no one is going in to save the Ukies. All the idiots going there to fight for freedom will learn a lesson. It's valiant and the right thing to do to fight for your country and I do respect the Ukies on the ground doing that. But there's only so much of a beating you can take before you lose more than your good looks. Ukraine won't be pretty no more!
I'll keep checking the few tabs I got open on the subject and I'll try to post any relevant information. This has been probably the best thread on the internet for what is going on there. Joosh should be proud to provide such a platform. Maybe when he's older he will see that he did even more than "kicking against the pricks". As for the rest of you cunts, you really have no excuse! Mwah, Mwah! See you in a day or two when the next outrage rears its ugly head.
