Hating both governments and the general political situation that precipitated the conflict is reasonable but the bottom line is that Russia invaded them and are putting innocent civilians in danger. I support Ukraine in the sense that I think it's in their best interest to come to terms with Russia as quickly as possible to minimise the amount of death and destruction.

One of the leading causes of social shitstorms are people having strong opinions on subject matters they barely know anything about it. Lukashenko is basically a puppet for Putin, but his armed forces aren`t really something to brag about. They have less than 20 thousand men total in their ground forces, it would be a waste of time and resources to send them in with the protests against the war going on inside Belarus as well, if they are posted they are just standing guard in Belarus and nowhere else!

Kadyrov freaking out over the loss of his strongman image is perfectly in line with what we know of him, his ego is well documented and there are dozens of instances of him personally humiliating people for doing things he disliked. He plays an up and close game as a leader with a carefully cultivated image, if he fails publicly it`s very bad for his image and puts his future in jeopardy!

This is nothing new, back in the day they added dramatic effects like sounds of people screaming and fake gunshots to news broadcasts. Montages of events with humor have been around forever, it`s a human thing, dealing with misery by making light of it. This is just the modern version of it!

Russia at least has a chance to not starve if they can figure out their banking system running internally to pay vendors and workers.

You can just as reasonably say that Ukraine fucked around with the vital strategic interests of its neighbor and put Russians in danger, which demanded action on the part of its political leaders. Or you can say it's the US's fault for cajoling Ukraine into doing so as part of yet more foreign adventurism by proxy.

These are not simple questions with simple solutions.
