Could any of you explain to me why so many retards think there's going to be a nuclear war over this? Many of my imaginary friends seem to think its right around the corner.
So far all i've gathered are those super legit scenarios like:

Nobody is retarded enough to light a radioactive flare in their own borders, and that's sidestepping the fact that doing so with modern reactors wouldn't be so easy. Chernobyl happened because nobody could even predict it was possible, not the case now.

This is the main narrative and i don't understand it, putin isn't retarded enough to commit nuclear suicide over the Ukrainian shithole. Even if he is i doubt every ruski down the chain of command is too.

I agree it doesn't reveal that much info about his location but it's clear he's on an attic and his rifle is positioned on the left side of the attic.

The three reasons you mentioned are fucking retarded. The reason some folks are concerned is the idea of russia getting pushed into a corner. Or the idea some escalation will happen, NFZ over ukraine, some NATO dude will get shot down, and shit will spin up from there. Any NATO forces getting involved will make this much more tense.

When you declare war upon a nation you don't get to excuse yourself with "I was only planning to kill the soldiers". You know fully well that you'll be bombing civilians.

Both sides are completely backed in a corner here in this debate, its such a stupid discussion. As I've said before, no side is trying their outmost to avoid civilian casualties because they would never win the war. The Russians are not targeting civilians but neither are they specifically avoiding to attack sectors that have enemy military personell and civilians in them.

Neither did the Americans when they bombed Serbia in 1999. They just had better weapons and their goal wasn't to take over the country so they didn't need to do it as often.

Targeting of civilians as a means to an end is rarely done. Mostly in civil wars, otherwise the last time was by the allies, especially the Brits during WW2 and ofcourse before that by the Germans.

The Soviets did a little bit of it too like in Helsinki.

How many Ukrainian helicopters are there in working condition? Probably reduces the probability of it being shot down (or at least reduces the plausible deniability). That plus he fled out of the country at the first sign of a Russian crossing the border, hence all the recycled pictures of him totally being in Ukraine.
