We are not really so much at the mercy of foreigners as we are of our own laziness.

Kinda. But never misunderestimate how much the policy making elite hates you pollution with the white hot fury of a supernova, and would literally rather see proles strung out dying of opiods and freezing to death in winter than have more well-paid blue collar jobs and lower costs of living pollution.

This guy doesn't get it, like its fucking clear the US has a fucking game running in this country so its off limits to the Russians, yet they attacked so now its a fucking problem hence why we are placing sanctions and sending lethal weapons to kill Russians with.
Yeah maybe the problem is that we have politicians who are running a corruption game in the Ukraine.

Jesus fucking Christ they managed to get Dr. Manhattan

he’s really good at exploding ethnic russians as depicted here:

There was a similar thing in the US in the aftermath of Trump's election. We were told by republicans like John McCain and no end of democrats that the United States wasn't a "blood and soil" country. That nationalism was basically un-american. That the idea of "American Soil" that needed defending or the idea of shedding blood to defend America was nonsense.

None of them ever thought through the implications of what they were saying and its impact on military recruiting. And it did have an impact especially among the groups who had historically provided the backbone of the US military. Because if you tell people there is no American soil that is worth defending that American blood shed means nothing, you are telling them that anyone who wastes their time going into the military is a sucker.
Honestly the reason this whole debacle has been a minor white pill for me is that the intensity of the support for Ukraine shows that nationalism as an idea still deeply appeals to people - it's just westoids are too cucked to show any for their own country.

Its my fucking government so I support it, I do not plan on moving to China or Russia why would I take a chance with their version of corruption.

Doesn't matter, Adibas supplies are still plentiful
Adidas clothes are the new currency. They already fit the definition of one: limited supply and wanted by everyone, yet widespread enough to be obtainable.
But we need to save the spotted owls, bro.
By installing windmills right on top of their nests.

So because America is the country you were born in, you support everything the government does even them wrecking the American economy to protect their corruption racket in the Ukraine. That is dumbest explanation for anything I've ever heard. You deserve the pain that is coming.

Even considering that Zelensky is threatening to cut off gas to Europe so they help him, there's more seethe in this thread.

I don't understand the point. If we replace their fuel in Europe... Russia will still have fuel to farm and transport food. The supply of fuel in Europe doesn't effect Russia's ability to feed itself in any way.

Yea, Russia imports food to diversify the available food. If Europe cuts it off they'll be stuck eating corn, bread and beans for 90% of their meals. But they won't be starving
Not all of them, though I imagine if those go from a food to THE food they'll increase in price enough to hurt many and starve some.

Russia published its list of demands. According to the Kremlin, accepting them will mean an immediate withdrawal of all troops and the immediate end of the "military operation".

1. Renounce claim on Crimea and accept it is now Russian
2. Accept the independence of LNR and DNR
3. Change the constitution to enshrine the country's non-participation in any military alliance.

They also pointed out Ukrainean government is not effectively in control of their own country that is effectively being ran by "radical movements".
lmao they aint wrong doe, too bad there's not going to be any sort of agreement until Russia's gun is against he head of someone very important to the government.

Im from a NATO country, I want the shit rigged in favor of NATO and its western alliances, I do not want to support communists even if they were to be morally correct which they are not because they invaded and started killing children with indiscriminate shelling. Its called self preservation and not supporting the current enemy faggot you know the guy who threatened to murk us all with nukes.

I am sure that even if Ukraine agreed the honorable and trustworthy Russians would not even consider going back on their word.
