Mostly agree but I don't think the Russians want to level the cities, they just want the puppet of the West out and their puppet in.

The other option is keep innocents trapped in a warzone. This is what Zelensky chose for his people. Now the blood is on his hands too. Why would the Russians agree to let Azov slip through their fingers by hiding among the innocent like sand niggers?
Yeah but they do not want that 40 mile convoy to refuel and get supplied lol that could cause a swing in the Russians favor, Why not allow the evacuation to poland where there are no enemy fronts. And Why the fuck would you evacuate your civilians into enemy territory to begin with, clearly the Russians are trying out some jewish tricks.

It's not just uncaring. It's tacitly acknowledging that he'd rather have Ukrainians die than shred his optics.
Yeah, idk how Z-fags are gonna explain away this one. Why* would you not let your vulnerable civilians get to a safe country in the middle of a war? It doesn't matter if you don't like the country of destination, what matters is random grandmas don't get disemboweled by shrapnel. (*Lol jk, we know why.)

I like to think the little guy is being told what to say at (literal or implied) gunpoint by the more nutty and murdery elements of Ukraine's oligarchy/MIC. And US/EU are obviously still pulling his strings too. If that's true, it makes him less culpable than he seems. But even so, this is weasely af and more obviously a "war crime" than anything Putler has done so far.

Friendship ENDED with Zelensky. Now Sergei Shoigu is my friend.

Our logistical capabilities are dependent on 700+ bases and installations around the globe. It's not unique American genius.
It doesn't have to be, but that's part of why we have the bases. Still, we once fought a war on two very separate fronts, while supplying allies and worked a lot of the various doctrinal issues out. It's why the US ratio of support personnel to combat troops is so biased towards support personnel. Germany was bad in WWII with two combat soldiers per support personnel, Japan was like ten to one because who needs logistics when you're Grorious Nippon, and we were one combat to two support. I know we were at one combat to five support a few years back, but with the modern military worried about Trannies and such, it's probably all gone to hell, except for the few long term guys trying to hold on for whatever passes for retirement.

I generally agree, if they wanted to rule over rubble they could have started already, but I think they want to do this without levelling everything unless they feel they have to. A lot of Russians see Ukrainians as cultural brothers or cousins, it's different from levelling Grozny. But if Zelensky makes them go Mongol, I think they'll smash one or two into dust.

Neither side wants to give concessions. Give 'em an inch, they'll take a mile.

That Russia's got a 40-mile convoy in Ukrainian territory and total air superiority makes it seem like things are already in Russia's favor. It's not like safely evacuating civilians would make it any worse for Ukraine, it'd just make it a lot worse for the president's PR and propaganda campaigns. Not only does it mean fewer civilian casualties, which hurts his claims of war crimes for NATO support, it also makes Russia look like it cares about the civilians, which would go against his narrative that they're indiscriminately killing all targets they see.

Zelensky was actually elected on a platform that included trying to reach an accomodation with Russia and immediately 180'ed on it when he achieved office, presumably because the Right Sector types told him he would be murdered if he tried

Thats Cope the Russian military is collapsing they haven't done shit in like 5 days due to major logistics issues, Air support is getting swatted by the fuck ton of stingers deployed everywhere.

Russian army should just give them their smartphones back and tell them to read the comments on the live thread on /r/worldnews

Bunch of posts about how Russians are subhuman evil scum of the earth and should be wiped from existence. Yeah that's gonna get some good shellin' going.

They are sub humans and can't read english bro lol.

Turning everything into Grozny is just their military doctrine though. They tried to minimize civilian casualties in the first three days or so and we saw how that went.
Fair point and it might be a naïve thought but imo Russia has more respect for Ukrainians than Chechens. They look at Kiev as the historical capital of the Eastern Slavic people so they might not be so brutal. But I could be wrong.

I will powerlevel only enough to say I have a personal stake in what's happening in Ukraine, but the whole issue becomes so surreal when so many who purport to be pro-ukraine couldn't even find it on a map or tell you a goddamn thing about Ukrainian culture. It might seem gratifying at first that people are "on your side" but the truth is they don't really give a shit and only care because it's in the media right now and they don't care to know the nuances or history of the situation and will forget about it as soon as it's convenient to do so.

My whole life's experience has shown me that the majority of people think of all slavic people as lesser spin offs of Russia, so even if it would make me feel better to believe that a huge proportion of people suddenly care about Ukrainian independence, I can't bring myself to believe that it's anything deeper than the BLM trend most people forgot about after awhile.

All I'm left with is a feeling of disgust about everything. Very few in the west will ever give an actual shit about eastern and central Europe. That would be fine if they left well enough alone, but when people pretend to care and start to meddle it usually has more to do with how the situation will be beneficial to the west than the people in the east legitimately effected by the wars.

It does feel extremely astroturfed. It breaks my heart to hear my friends and family in the east say "it's just nice that someone gives a shit about us for once" when I know it's just bullshit.
If it makes you feel better a lot of people here care, you can tell because they're here instead of spamming 2 dozen pro-Ukraine propaganda and attention posts on social media

What the fuck, do Russians seriously not use any encrypted communications, I thought they would at least use them for officers to high command because we know they don't use encrypted communications for standard infantry. Russia is literally a North Korea tier army with better vehicles at this point.
I know there's a decent chance for this to be fake, but Russia has failed so much in this war that I'm starting to believe some of this shit.

"Pushed into a corner", ive heard this one too. What the fuck does it mean though?
Does it mean Russia will have no other alternative than to commit suicide via atomic war? H O W ?
Please describe a scenario where the attacker, Russia is forced to use atomic weapons. They cant be used to conquer cities, only to destroy them, they cant be used to attack armies because they're too spread out, they cant be used at all past very specific scenarios because they're goddamn FIRST STRIKE WEAPONS.
So what, would their economy become so shit due to sanctions that they would be forced to warm their houses with atomic blasts?

What the actual fuck do people mean when they say Russia will be "forced to" launch nukes? Because it seems to me like just another buzzword bullshit phrase that means absolutely jacks fucking shit.
It's pretty simple if you aren't fucking stupid. He stated "why do we need a world if russia isn't in it"
