In terms of the price of a barrel of oil, the peak price was $145. The current price today is 126.53.
"gas prices" in the US are variable and regional. They are harder to compare.
This is very interesting. Was the $145 a barrel during the 2008-2009 recession? The oil embargo(s) of the 1970s? I’m also curious about prices adjusted for inflation to see when getting gas was really at it’s worst (minus actual rationing during war/crisis).

This guy's videos are also good, I'll check it out later when I have time. But suffice to say, this war is definitely sending CCP to panic, hence their mixed signal here and there
I've heard some retarded takes in my time but that takes the biscuit.

China is the world's largest economy and workshop. How do you imagine the US sanctioning China exactly? Every globohomo corporate behemoth from Walmart to Apple would go belly up in 5 minutes if China decided to make it so. They don't need us we need them.

I'll tell you exactly what's happening behind the scenes right now. Biden's handlers are desperately trying to work a deal, we give you Taiwan without a fight and you sell out Russia. Doubt they'll go for it, Taiwan is there's any time the decide to take it, which won't be long. Xi may prefer to blood his troops in a real war to prepare for what's to come, just as Putin is doing with his second line troops in the Ukraine. Russia has offered to export cheap hydrocarbons to the Chinks indefinitely, a deal in the trillions, which gives them a massive competitive advantage. They're not going to piss that away in return for something that they'll get anyway. Panic lol.

Seems the thinking is Russian commanders are frustrated with slow progress, and are taking greater risks in the field. I can believe that given how Russia's command doctrine emphasises top-down leadership, as opposed to Western doctrine which emphasises independent action even at platoon level.
If the deaths are real, we don't know enough to draw much of any conclusions about them. Without information on where exactly they died and in what circumstances, its impossible to conclude anything about it from a command doctrine or tactics in the field point of view. There are a tremendous number of ways to get killed in a war and you can also get killed far from the front line. Especially today.

You know I’m glad to be in a place where we rightfully call out Ukrainian propaganda I’m a bit concerned about how we switched to sucking off the Russians.

Like a guy shooting a couple of geezers not moving at him is not the fault of the Ukrainians.
I guess all the Ukrainians and Westerners trying to scare off the Russians by bragging that every civilian is actually a part of the war effort might have been a dumb idea. Perhaps ivory tower politicians and celebrities should stop saber rattling with other people's lives at stake.

What would the army do if you met your general, said hi, then forcefully kissed him on the lips?

Would that be enough to get you out of service or would a MP or something just beat your ass and send you to military prison forever? Just asking for a friend.
Idk, i was on a Personal Security Detachment for a division command group. We were in charge of their safety anytime they had to go somewhere (battlefield circulations, meetings with locals etc). They mostly avoided transportation by ground. They would fly and we would be staged to pick them up and provide ground transportation and security to whatever they needed to do then take them back to wherever the bird was gonna pick em up.

This is some weird fanfiction. I recommend going outside.

I think the whole thing is a ruse cruse. Putin did it because he made his deal with China and whoever else. He and who ever else wants to test the social credit system in Russia before rolling it out world wide. Ukraine is a distraction. Just a gay theory.
Worldwide, even for burgertards? Welp, mine's probably already in the gutter, so, party on dude.
As an actual Kentucky redneck, i'd like to claim that boy, but he's from Arkansas though. Everything else you said stands though. Smart kid, more plugged in that you'd expect for a 1, redneck, 2 MMA guy.
Some pretty smart people don't have the undying urge to tell the world about it, but he proved himself so right there. Meanwhile we got college age normies screaming for us to go to war RIGHT NOW!

Weird how news stations are freaking out over a Russian general being killed, but barely reported on his dead Ukrainian counterpart and that air force Colonel who was shot down.
I think people kind of expect pilots to be higher to mid ranking officers so it isn't considered a giant deal. There's obviously the media bias as well.

Cpl. Klinger posts on KF now.
"Commander, this high level Ukraine fighter wants to defect."
"Dah! Anywho - I can provide intel on all defenses. I would be happy to give them to you... but, I need something..."
"Yes?"
"I want the largest burliest Cech leader in your army to have rough gay anal sex with me."

Russian diplomats finally work overtime and unfortantly a coo happens, the ghost of K-town strikes again.
