Well, anyways. At first, before we start talinkg together I would like to say couple of personal thoughts, and later we will move to something more positive sigh. I apologize in advance, I am a little nervous, my heart is beating awfullly fast, a-and my hands are shaking, but I'll try to convey my thoughts and I hope that you will pay attention. And as you konw, my channel was always focussed on entertainment or something like this, and if someone is disgusted by thoughts of Mana-anime-girl, then you should probably close this stream because this will be exactly about it.


I... don't want to create additional drama, I'm fully aware how harsh are lives to some of you at this moment. I don't want to talk about any firm positions or some definitions because the last thing I want in the world is to offend any you, or due to incompetence name one thing by accident as the other; I don't want to say any vague words which will not give any clarity to you. Well, ignoring the channel [the purpose of the channel] and character, and things that should never be connected with real life, I would like to say that I feel genuine compassion to many people in this conflict, irrelevant to on which side of the barricade they are sigh. I don't want see everything as only black and white, because at the very least it is clear to everyone which side is feeling more opressed, less safe; and this is a very complicated topic for the anime girl to give you any advices or telling fantasies about not verified information or rumors, especially when we see the same fight on media as it is in reality sigh. And the only thing that I can and even must say to my viewers, subscribers and channel members - in general, to all of you - take care of yourself. If you have the opportunity - move as soon as possible away from the conflict, maybe to your relatives or friends who you haven't seen in a while. Take your savings to stay alive and to help your loved ones. Don't believe not verified information, and if you can't check it - it will be better to isolate yourself from it entirely; do everything you can to stay safe and healthy, being together with your loved ones, near your homes. And if you one of those trying to help, don't let anyone blame you for speaking up about it now. Keep your safety in mind and don't make loud statements for which you might go to the places not-so-far-from-here [phrase which means 'prison'], because there you will help noone.


I hurts me deeply to read the messages from those of you who suddenly turned out to be in the middle of things, those who... are saying their farewales to me in private messages... Those who lost everything or about to lose it; those who were not related to these events but still experienced pressure and humiliations... I'm sorry, it's hard to hold back the emotions, I- sorry, I'll try to compose myself.


This lingering conflict has always been a painful toplic for me, but in these last two weeks when I was out something unimaginable happened. And while this was happening and is happening right now I tried to think how I can help, tried to do something, I talked with my relatives, friends I haven't talked to in a long time, new friends... I was losing faith in people and found it again. I thought how I can talk with you to not be the only silent person in a bunch, I thought about the ways to entetrain you while this is happening.


A lot of things connects me with both Ukraine and Russia, but I can't judge the correctness of actions of both sides. There is a lot of disinformation, and it scares me the most how people believe all the news. There were many promises to not do something during all these years, but those promises on TV were broken time after time. It has never been like this and now it is exactly the same again ['Chernomyrdinka' quote]. I'm terrified of how we are being divided and tried to set up against each other, of these strawman arguments, how our aggression is tried to be increased; family arguments on the kitchens destroy families, friendships are lost.


But remembering many other events around the globe for all these times I can tell that people can adapt to all of these changes: everyone is trying to survive. That's why do not lose hope and try to find different solutions to this situation specifically for yourself, and don't ignore what is happening. In time people will regain confidence in tomorrow and will understand what to do next; and that is happening so close, I still can't believe it... Well, our parents, our grandparents lived through wars and crises as well, and even sometimes it looks like that it is inevitable, that this... terrible and ugly part of soul of humanity with which we have to coexist, and we don't know whether it will be ok or it will be only worse. This is all scary but we will go ahead: hoping for the better, trying to do something, helping, supporting, not awerting eyes.


It was always painful for me to think about all the wars transpired. About terrible tragedies, about mass shootings... And I always imagine parents who lost their children... Children who lost everything... And the thing that pisses me off is that those who are not involved in it, observing it from the safe distance dare to biliously support this nightmare, criticize, accuse from their couch and tell that they deserved it!.. not thinking of victims as of people.


I'm sorry, sorry for the emotions, they are breaking out, I can't contain them. Oh how I wish deep inside to show these people what they deserve, but I can't wish these nightmares even to an enemy. This, what you think of as 'they deserved it', will get back to you, and their pain will surely reach you.


That's why if you are safe and you have a slightest possibility, while not endangering yourself or harming others, - do what you can to stop this horror, this war - for the people, your friends, relatives, acquaintances to stop dying.


That's probably all I wanted to say at the moment. Thank you who understood and didn't skip this. Even the smallest messages or actions are more important than ever. Even if someone thinks otherwise.


And now, let's try to start the first stream in this month, today we will just talk and try to loose the tension.

As a side note on ANOTHER video I didn't want to join halfway: Rosemi's vod of the worms collab is privated if not nuked. Anyone got anything about that? Selen's is still up so I'm not gimped on watching the overall, but I'd be curious why Rosemi's went down.

Apparently she accidently showed the lobby which shows regional flags or something. They were blocked earlier in her POV of the stream but she forgot to do it once apparently.

I'd love to see someone in Holo stream HOI4 / any PDX game, but i feel like their management would be less than thrilled about it, especially with what's currently going on in the world and the kind of comments those games usually attract.
Maybe Stellaris, but i've never played that so i don't know how similar to their other grand strategy games it is.

Still i agree, Holo needs more (or any really) members who play strategy games regularily, only one i've seen recently was moona playing AOE2 i think.

I missed the Pipkin stream but I first heard about the Helen Keller hoax theory last week from a mate that works with people in the 'deaf culture' and they all hate her because they think she was a political pawn groomed by Alexander Graham Bell ("inventor" of the telephone, founder of AT&T and guy who got American Sign Language banned from being taught in schools for 100 years) who is apparently the Hitler of deaf culture people because he thought every deaf person was capable of being really good at listening by touch by putting their hand on the speakers throat to feel the vocalizations and that sign language had to be abolished because it stunted intellectual growth. They think all of Helen Keller's highly publicized accomplishments were just a propaganda campaign financed by Bell to prove that sign language was unnecessary. Keller was one of the exceptional few totally deaf people who could get by without sign language thanks to support and grants from many ultrarich benefactors like Bell.

Apparently this theory has been around for decades and it's only until now that it got mainstream attention.

What type of personalities/talents do you want to see out of them?

People with unique talents besides the usual singing anime songs, above average manga drawing skills and mediocre weeb/mainstream/pokemon/flavor of the month gaming streams. All the other corpo and indie vtubers have all that covered.

Music and art are pretty much universal and cross language barriers so give me a metal/rock singer, someone who draws something besides manga, a composer, dj, just anything that truly requires skill. idgaf what it is, I will watch almost any sort of master doing their craft. I hope Cover doesn't recruit heavily from the indies and gets people who have something unique but not necessarily the best streamer. Watching then start out rough and get better is half the fun.

I imagine she is much more interesting if you speak either KR (imagine that) or JP, as it seems that is the bulk of her talking by my untrained ear. (pic shows maybe in what way)
