There is something to be said about the information overload of the current media climate that recreates the "2 more weeks" meme constantly in many hearts and minds. As irresponsible as Russia seems with the heavy coverage of the million mile convoy this doesn't seem to be the beast they project to the world stage on full throttle. Ukrainian news will show how their home grown defense are Red Dawning countless Russian divisions but then they take more cities. Military autists in groupchats are clarifying that they see little of anything Russia has spent its defense fund on since the 90s being used in footage, as if they are saving their good stuff for later, or their modern war economy is vaporware. I made the mistake of watching some MSM from CNBC, FOX and BBC and even they can't get any sort of central narrative together, besides painting Putin as some mastermind while also off his rocker, nothing new for how the west paints despots.

I don't want to make the 500th cenrtist "both teams suck" post but i'm anxious for a future when the fog of war dissipates and we know what is actually going on with more clarity. Western nations spend (siphon) trillions for defense and intelligence yet can't give our unelected leaders any actionable information. Famed near-lolcow Dave Muistaine said it best - Military intelligence, two words combined that can't make sense.

Jesus I didn't think of that. US dollar is primarily backed by oil. Motherfuckers really fucked themselves if this is no longer the case. If Iran, Russia, and some members of OPEC decide to jump off the dollar reserve, US dollar will depreciate like motherfucker. Shit is real.....
I predict gas will have to hit 6 dollars a gallon before Joe Sixpack finally gets off his ass and starts screaming to his Congressidiot to open the damn Keystone Pipeline already. The great Resignation happened because our feckless leaders decided to pay wagie cagers to stay home and people realized they didn't want to bust their asses for 8 dollars an hour with no health insurance. Our government driving up the cost of gas to stick it to the Russkies may well result in those same wagie cagers realizing life would run better without out of touch politicians running the sinking ship that passes for the US hegemon these days....

Welcome to being gaslit and lied to on a daily basis. You are now one of us: The retards on the internet who are smarter than 'the media', social or otherwise.

Why should I take the people sending tanks into a neighboring country at their word when they refuse to call their armed invasion a war? Even the U.S. was honest about calling the war in Iraq a war.
Because the US considered going to Iraq a war. That’s what I’m telling you. The Russians don’t consider this a war.

FOX's agenda is somehow the most bizarre, you've got them actually questioning the Ukrainian leadership (because of Biden ties) , but then bringing on a bunch of retired book shilling neocons who are calling for US action like they used to. I really don't want to say "I implore you to listen to x y or z clip" but this is bizarre lack of unity for a station with pretty strong stances on every other happening before (usually somewhere in the GOP walled garden).

They want to be Mitt Romney but they can't swap completely lest the Boomer suffers dissonance from their favorite media suddenly treating people like Vindman seriously.

To me it just seems business as usual, why bottleneck yourself to a single narrative?
we can already see what that did to CNN viewership numbers.
Diversifying view points and having a scattershot approach to reporting sounds like a good idea even if a lot of those views are borderline retarded its better to have both sides of the extreme as long as you also get the nuanced on-the-ground takes and let the people sort out what they want to believe.

TL;DR They are using the Israel approach
