It's genuinely fascinating to me how she thinks 2000 people willing to pay $5/month on one simple, user-friendly platform translates to 1000 people willing to pay $20/month on OF (which only works sometimes) and another $10/month for Patreon as a backup for that. She really believes people will pay anything and follow her anywhere for the privilege of providing her unconditional support. It truly blows my mind.

Anyway. I believe she's had strikes before and didn't want to give her haydurs the satisfaction of complaining about it/decided to be clever for half a minute and not advertise that the trolling was having an impact on her channel. I don't believe this very strongly and it's not a hill I want to die on, but it just makes sense to me. That doesn't absolve Charlie of shit and it doesn't argue that YouTube's TOS are benign. It just means even Chantal saw this coming (though not clearly enough to have some savings or really invest in other platforms). I have no idea what the implications would be for getting her ban overturned.

The nice thing about her streaming on YouTube wasn't the streams themselves (with a few notable exceptions) particularly recently. It was the ease with which every cunt in BP chat could tune in, recap, and archive them. We've lost the hilarious streams as well as the boring, and worse, the ability to snark in real time and archive Chantal's shame. Now we're going to have to work at it, and it will be largely unrewarding work.

I mean, we'll still do it because we're malignant autists who need to have complete archives and will never pass up the chance -- however remote -- of watching Chantal do more dumb shit to ruin her life (or for that matter, just get coked up and bounce on her ball. RIP bouncy ball. We hardly knew ye). I'm not sure how we'll do it, but we'll figure something out.
