Ex-cops or regular combat vets who don't have the skills or desire to transition to better jobs. The pay is really good, but the benefits, hours, and actual job duties are complete shit. Half the time you're doing shit like picking up dry cleaning,putting covers on the pool furniture or staring at a vault, monitoring system or display case for 12 hours. Work/life balance is near impossible and there's a good chance you're babysitting an absolute retard whose biggest security risk is themself or a you're punching bag/gofer for a titanic prick or bitch. If you're with those sort of security companies, it's better to be assigned to a high end retail site, or stuck on home monitoring duties rather than escort.

All a guy would have to do is wait for Colbert to visit his dead parent's grave on their birthday (Almost everybody I know who has a dead parent visits their grave on their birthday, that's what I'm basing this on), and pick them off there. It's a very private affair where one is likely not to have security with them, it's an open field with plenty of tombstones to keep cover, little to no staff on site, and there's no cameras.

See, up until now had the opposite impression. I assumed all the progshit was being done cynically to distract voters from their more insidious policies, and despite the illusion of cohesion present during the first months of Biden's term, it quickly became public knowledge that there's been nonstop infighting between Democrat factions since Day One.

In cabinet positions themselves, yes, but their senior staffers and advisors are often pure ideologues who shove in their far left objectives in. The political appointees can’t or won’t reign them in. My belief is more of the latter - their job is ultimately to provide enough cover to advance far left objectives. Hence progressives pretending to be neoliberals. I deal with these dumbasses on a daily basis and haven’t found evidence to the contrary to date.

Without supermajorities, nothing's happening, and nothing's changing. The fate of US, however, hangs in the wind a little longer.

Even with supermajorities, nothing will change. Basically you have to scour out all the career bureaucrats and unaccountable random judges in Honolulu who will issue nationwide injunctions if some law hurts their feelings. Otherwise they will just keep on keeping on. Recall that there were the occasional honest attempts to reform government during 2017 and 2018 and the response was “lolno.” Towards the end of Trump’s tenure, they were openly insubordinate or just gave him false data.

Basically you have to have someone with balls to just fire these cunts and organize efforts to recall judges whenever possible. Those guys with balls don’t exist at the moment. Nobody is willing to put their careers on the line; it’s just easier to advocate giving Israel more free shit instead.
