He really said fighting games are on the decline, ignoring stove and kof15 being huge and, he really tried to spin it as him quitting kof15 because half the playerbase quit lmao

He also said people only like this new stuff because they haven’t played the classics, he really thinks somone is gonna get into stuff ass SF2 and prefer it over anything modern on the market.

Phil is one to talk, because he ran away from MvC to Super Turbo, due to the latter being simpler and easier for him (he has practically admitted this), and even though he plays 3rd Strike, he always complains about doing so and refuses to do it on Fightcade, where the real players are. I've also never seen him touch Guilty Gear, or any SNK game, and that just by itself decimates any business he has bitching about no one playing any classics, because that's where so many of them are.

He wants everyone to act like he's lamenting the loss of something that affects the whole genre, when in reality, and he knows this, he's lamenting that he can't handle anything that's actually technical, regardless of its age. He doesn't even have an answer for what the EVO lineup should be like, as that's not the point behind his bitching in the least, and that's why he's a joke forever.

History has shown that all it takes is patience. He had Twitch, Teespring, and other things for many years, and now he'll never get them back. Though the real fun is going to be had when he gets himself kicked off YouTube, because it's over for him after that. He has nowhere else to run to, that's going to pay him enough.

And that's to say nothing of the wild card that is his PayPal account. May not be likely, but if it happened to get yanked at any point, that would certainly throw a wrench in the works...

I watched the whole video and I don't see how he's violating the Patreon TOS. He gives people their rinky dink forum titles, shoutouts, and ask the king questions, low effort as these are. I would of though they'd focus on the bait and switch he's constantly pulling with coop play.

Thats a twink where you have access to better loot at lower levels than you would. Originally WoW your non white gear would be lower level than you would normally be.

Later, and what this is probably talking about is that WoW introduced "twink gear" which is stuff that scales with your level and gives you an exp boost, as well as being the best gear you will have at that level.

But it shows that DSP once again makes up shit that already exists and doesn't fit what he thinks it does

Who doesn't like the awkward feeling inputs, the floaty jumping, the framerate dipping when you or your opponent get hit with a special attack, and the game just being clunky overall?

Don't forget random damage and random stun.

Younger millennials probably spent some time on ps1, but anything before ps2 is basically ancient at this point. Ever go back to ps2 games? Almost fucking unplayable by today's standards, the camera is brutal.

Depends on the genre. I went back to playing some PSDouble games recently and with fighting games there's no real difference, same with menu simulators like JRPGs and spreadsheet simulators like Nobunaga's Ambition Iron Triangle. Action games on the other hand can be very hit or miss. I mentioned replaying RE4 recently and I've also replayed MGS3 and yeah, you need about an hour or two to get fully used to the clunky controls.

I will never get this mindset that some FGC fags use where they consider some games to be "anime fighters" and therefore "lesser" while considering shit like Street Fighter and KOF as not being "anime". arena fighters/tie-in games, maybe, but not Guilty Gear and Blazblue.

It's to describe how Arc Sys games fight like an anime fight. Unlike a lot of tie-in games which tend to not capture that same kind of energy and speed. Which I didn't mean to sound like some sort of marketing blurb, but I'm not kidding. Go play like Budokai or Ninja Storm and play Blazblue. Tell me which one of them seems more like an actual anime game. Its even best to look at Fighter Z. For the first time a Dragon Ball game got to feel like an anime fighter.

I always laugh when I see this fool's hair, because while the very top may be thin, it's not the worst part. There are big patches on the slopes on either side where the hair is just plain GONE. The top hair has been thinning for over a decade, but the sides are receding horizontally at a MUCH faster rate. This tells me that the top hair thinning is mostly genetic, while the receding side hair is probably from treating his body like shit.

I mean that's how it typically goes with men's hair, sometimes you get a bad hand and you look like Patrick Stewart, at the same age he went bald (which was 19). But even with him, it was the top hair, the sides remained for a lot of years. I'm just two years younger than Phil, and my hairline didn't start receding until about two years ago. Despite the fact that it has been graying slowly since I was 28. Genetics, clearly, but think about bad it would be if I had no testosterone and drank heavily. Probably a lot closer to the mess above.

Phil already has plenty of reason to regret his decisions, but it hasn't even begun to get as bad as he dreads it getting. He won't learn anything, but he WILL be experiencing his fears made real one day, when he's forced to sport a sorry-looking mohawk for the rest of his life until that inevitably falls out too. He keeps running from shit for no reason, and just makes it worse when it catches up with him anyway. What an idiot...

Pardon my autism as well but you're wrong, the origin of twinking was getting your char to max level of a bracket with best in slot gear you could get for that level so you can stomp that bracket. It often involved ridiculous slogs like winning the stranglethorne fishing tournament for the hat (which involved being escorted by max level PvP geared players for protection) and paying crazy prices for insanely low drop rate items like that sword from shadowing keep that has a .01% drop rate.

Twink characters pre-dated heirloom gear, mostly rogues and a specific bind on equip dagger (I forget which) eventually honor gear would be used to twink so people would sit at the top of a level bracket in pvp and farm honor.

Fun was detected and blizzard has attempted to stop fun and people not playing wow they way they want them to in a ways that could only be described to keep this on topic, in ways that are very comical phil burnell ways of fixing a problem as the player base for a time was always more clever than the people making the design decisions.

I remember when someone in my guild said they had a twink rogue, I mentioned I had a bear huntard. I was the only one who laughed at my joke, a DSP moment.

ER gameplay really started now, DICK LIGHTNING. He kept screaming at people who told him to switch builds because his oneshot shit was boring and he screamed at them. Now, the variety is very robust and flavourful. He can spam dick lightning from the horse for maximum action (I haven't seen his ER gameplay properly so I'm just guessing). Horizon exists, DST autism.

On topic of his ER gameplay, I was watching ACG's Walking the Walk.

He mentions a thing called Skill Atrophy. What he means is that the content presented in the overworld with horseback gives you too many outs from combat. When you finally go into a claustrophobic dungeon filled with hallways, you suddenly forget how to play correctly by dodging and positioning. You can't run away on your horse anymore.

So he's essentially fucking himself avoiding any sort of actual challenge in videogames by ignoring them completely, and just playing dogshit easy games. It's why he simply just loses it completely when the game won't allow him to instawin anymore(Jumping R2s) and he's clinking into walls and his buttons aren't working. KOF15 being combo heavy, he forgot how to do any combos playing ST.

So it's not just his muscles turning into meat hangers, his brain is also mush at this point.

When he is booted off YouTube he will still have his whales following him to whatever shit streaming service he moves to.

But looking at the tips tracker this will probably cut his income by 50%, and I highly doubt that his whales are able do make up the difference and nothing points to Phil being able to handle such a drop in income.

DaS2 - heavily abused lightning spears before they got nerfed into the ground
DaS3 - played an early access copy that was made easier for gaming 'journalists'

I've been doing invasions for the past few days and it's right fun. You never know what you get. I've owned several people, but just as many have kicked my ass. His streams would be fun if some random bloke would just pop in and fuck him up with some OP magic or backstabs every so often.
