I heard this too, the thing is the original bat virus did not have any evidence of having mutated naturally to infect humans, when compared. Viruses will mutate rapidly as they get passed around and for a virus to become zoonotic there has to be evidence of a gradual change from the original. SARS COVID-2 has been studied extensively but this was big news . Here's a NY Post article that discusses it from 2021 which ties into the gain-of-function research Fauci was hiding.

The idea that "actually the omicron variant was manufactured" is a moving of the goalposts more than anything. I'd like to see the proof.

IMO The main evidence that COVID-19 came from a lab is the speed and vigor with which the people who fund the lab insisted this was absolutely impossible. This was a lie. There's no way they could have achieved certainty that the coronavirus strain that first appeared in the Wuhan area was not one of theirs without obtaining a sample and doing an audit, which they obviously didn't have time to do. In addition, rather than call for such an audit of the lab, they called for social media to unperson anybody who wanted such an audit.

Would that evidence be accepted in court? Probably not, but people who have nothing to hide don't use lying and bullying as their main defense.

In my part of the country, we don't have gas shortages, unless a small town gets snowed in or a storm blocks a highway or something like that. Over the past couple days I've noticed station after station closing a couple pumps or running out of everything except diesel and 87, that happens from time to time - I get it. What doesn't happen is gas stations only turning on one or two of the pumps all over the city. What doesn't happen is stations running out of literally everything. Not during Covid, not under Bush, not when Katrina fucked supply lines. I've already been stocking up on food, but I legit didn't think gas would actually RUN OUT anytime soon. Gonna go buy some jerrycans tomorrow morning and start preparing for shortages, cuz they're fucking coming.

Great plan there, and you are probably gonna turn out being right. That said, I would expect some of it is folks getting it now before it goes up later. Normally gas rises or falls very little week to week, but now it's been climbing for nearly two weeks. (well it's been slowly climbing for a bit, but the sharp rises are what i mean). It has went from 299>329>359>379>399 in a matter of 10 days here. Folks are just keepign topped up or even storing some now before it climbs more. I do believe it will return to normal soon, it will find it's balance is my guess. Steady increase from week to week, but little to no jumps every two or three days.

STill buying some now is a smart play. Dad has an old kerosene tank he used to use before he got HVAC, and he cleaned it and filled it with 200 gallons fo gas back when it took the first jump to 329..
