He'd definitely kill Chris. Or at least that's what I would do in the situation. Not because it's right, it's not right. But I know that I would absolutely flip.

Seems Dobson's parents are more concerned about what Dobbo does online than CWC, as they may have cut the internet down back in 2020.

Meanwhile CWC derped around online right up until the incest reveal. Then again, Borb didn't really understand the internets.

My opinion of these kinds of questions is that they're a bit of a cope, especially the latter paragraph about "proper treatment as a child". The main flaw of Chris-Chan that leads him into destructive behaviour is that the man is a NPC, more so than your standard normie. This is biological and not a result of his schooling. The most bizarre aspect about Chris-Chan that makes him fascinating as an individual is how he consumes and applies media to his real life in a sort of wish fulfillment, and how he observes his social peers respond to that. He generally lacks the ability to even reason information fed to him in a practical way, and instead just tries to copy and paste it.

In fact, I'd say Chris wasn't really being Chris when Bob was still around and was actually being tard wrangled by Bob up until say around late 2010. I've always been a vigorous defender of Bob trying to go against all odds to say he even attempted to make Chris normal. I think Chris, in his heart of hearts, was born into this degenerate world as a consumer and reflects the rot of American media perfectly, and no amount of "coping mechanisms for autistics" would have changed that. Perhaps if Chris was born in a world where pornography wasn't normalized, hard work was rewarded, vidya didn't exist, there was one religion that was taken seriously by all, and things were more or less standardized that Chris may have had hope, but in the cultural mess and hyper-consumerist America of the 1980s-Current Year, there was nothing that could be done for him.

What if Sean Walker had never infiltrated and broke up the Watchmen? Would they have been able to wrangle him into not fucking his mom? The original incarnation of the watchmen seemed more competent and trusted by Chris.

What if Chris was FAR MORE AGGRESSIVE in all of the sagas. For example, if he started yelling out "nigger" and etc during the Julie and Kacey sagas, and making his videos into long yelling matches about them?

the only way things would progress that far is if bob was a drooling vegetable. barb would have told her husband that her son was raping her the first opportunity she got and if she kept silent about it then that would mean she wanted it.

with that being said, had this happened bob probably wouldnt have gone to the police in order to protect both his son from jail as well as to maintain the honor of the chandler name. he would have likely covered it up and just arranged to exile chris to some tard home that the tugboat could pay for. it would have to be far enough out of state that it would deter chris from trying to come back.

after maybe 3 months of this chris would not be able to budget properly and his parents would relent and let him back at 14bc. the fear of getting yelled at by bob would probably keep him from fucking barb again but by this time (2022) bob would be 95 years old. i dont see chris living past 55 years old and by the time he is 55 bob would have to be 110 years old. assuming barb is still alive at 95 years old i put the odds of chris outliving a 110 year old bob at 63% so the odds are higher than not of him having a window to fuck barb once she is boyfriend free

the non joke answer though is that had bob still been alive chris would have had little motivation to do anything outside of the classic chris bubble. bob would have also been the sole voice of reason for chris so things like the idea guys gaslighting would have never happened. i dont think bob would have been able to stop chris trooning, running people over and macing them but his presence would have been able to stop the timeline where chris loses touch with reality and rapes barb

I’m inclined to think Bob would have been able to stop the car nonsense (remember Barb was involved) and macing. Nothing like it happened before he died, after all. Meanwhile, I don’t know if he could have stopped the Idea Guys. Maybe the more extreme things they got Chris to do, but not everything when it comes to warping Chris’s beliefs. Not unless he finally found a way to keep Chris offline and took total control of his finances.

But I do agree with you on how he would have handled the incest, should Chris have managed it while Bob was still around.

Chris didn’t have sex with his mother because he became delusional. He knew what he was doing. He’d been heading towards it for years.

Yeah. More likely Bob's presence would have kept Barb from becoming so emotionally dependent on Chris, which would stop the healing sessions from ever occurring in the first place.

I think Chris would've been much better off if Bob were somehow still around.

Maybe the 2011 (the Snyder hit-and-run) and 2014 ("DON'T CALL ANYBODY") incidents may not have happened?
