i'm a warmachine
i mean, i've never been on the front lines... i've only fired my gun at the range... no one ever fired at me
but i'm a total killing machine, man
watch! OH FUCK! THEY SHOT ME! I SHOT HIM BUT HE SHOT ME! HOW DID HE DO THAT?!
You'd think that after endless hours of Call of Duty that they would understand the concept of using cover, at least.

TBH it's the quieter ones who are more grounded in reality and know how to keep their heads down that will survive the war.

LITERALLY how you don't get your head blown off.
The power of shitposts compels you!
Fucking A man....I laughed so god damned hard.

This is dumb dumb dumb dumb like holy shit it is dumb. Every side is retarded about this shit but no more than the Russians and their dickriders. This entire situation is an unmitigated disaster on the Russian side and they don't even realize it. From their propaganda they went into this with a fundamentally flawed mindset. The Russians and their supporters seem to think that because the US pulled out of Iraq/Afghanistan that means they are weak. Granted yeah the US is weak, but they fail to understand exactly what those wars were. They were intended to be forever wars. Mass production of death to keep the military industrial complex forever flexing. The failure in Iraq and Afghanistan wasn't that they pulled out because they couldn't complete the objective, it was that they pulled out at all. That was what they were supposed to be, war as a service. The xbox live of oppression. I don't know if this is what Putin thought, but judging by what the media is broadcasting he seems to believe the purpose was victory. From what it looks like to an outside observer Putin seems to have thought he could pull a W and things would be daijoubu. That his boys would be welcomed with flowers and he would show up America with a "real war." If that is true he drank the koolaid and fundamentally misunderstood the situation.

Every possible solution to this problem is an L for Russia. The only conceivable way Russia could win here is if they mogged the entire world and just kept conquering until they couldn't any more. The last few weeks have shown that isn't possible. The only thing guaranteed from this war suffering for the Russian people.
The whole thing is a massive failure on Putin and Russian intelligence. They fucked up hard on two major issues.

A. That Ukrainians would accept or even welcome the Russian like Donbass and Crimea, ignoring the different demographic disproportionately favoring Russia and ignoring that the annexation of Crimea and the War In Donbass for the past 8 years has led to significant anti-Russian government attitudes

B. That invading Ukraine in mud season is never a good idea which leads to any backup plan in case of wide spread, organized, military resistance to Russian invasion to run into a brick wall in many regards.

I think it's simpler than all of that, as it's rather the idea that once you've made it, you're golden. Every society collapses when there's a notion that things have hit a perfection and nothing can be done beyond that. Realistically the individual collapses at that point as well, but I think society more commonly adopts retardation than innovation, and really it would be better if people just assumed that the elderly did their part, so now they get to relax if things are good, and basically put them in a petting zoo while the rest of society was the result of new generation. Then again, the troons and such put that into question quite heavily.

The Soviet Union was probably the only victory the USA had with the notion that it could change minds in a generation, and even then we can see Putin doesn't give a shit. All of the other experiments were an obvious failure, with China being the most catastrophic.
Yes but someone has to make sure the lights stay on. That takes knowledge and the more technical or complicated it gets, the more experienced and competent one has to be. You can't just waltz into a country on Russia's border and fuck around without repercussions. Actions have consequences but they don't seem to understand it apples to them too. The problem is the people in charge are literally to far gone to run a household, let alone a country like the United States.

Look at the boomers in Congress; I believe the rumor the Capitol Hill pharmacy fills record amounts of dementia meds every month. Their average age is eighty fucking years old. Elderly politicians refuse to retire and surround themselves with people who cater to them and won't challenge them, because they aren't up to being challenged at all.

Suggest when shit gets real things will change very quickly. "Woke" is a peacetime luxury.
🌈. I have to agree with @KingElizabeth. The people that would normally go "America, fuck yeah!" got bled out from 20 years of pointless, unclear wars. Now any Right-of-Center looks at the pozzed military of today and say, "Eh, maybe if they draft me, but I won't sign up to die for Gender Studies."

Assuming these Redditards actually were special forces instead of exceptional forces, U.S. military doctrine for the past 20 years have revolved around low-intensity counter-terrorism operations where air superiority was guaranteed from day 1. Now they're finding out that pig-anointed bullets don't do anything against artillery strikes. Wokeness is really a symptom of education teaching Howard Zinn history to students. Such ideological, anti-American history does not inspire defending American moral precepts, which we now see in the military's insistence on SHARP training and other CRT measures. The rot is very deep on every level of governance from the White House all the way down to the LA County Board of Supervisors. Even the ghosts of Patton and Eisenhower aren't going to reform such a demoralized armed forces.

Glorious Mother Russia already won by having pozzed American corporations and businesses leave their soil.

Now every domestic fuck up and moral failing is on them and they can't blame America for it.

In real life, cover isn't reliable. No wall is indestructible and no material is actually bulletproof, not in the way the common man thinks it is anyway. You'll want concealment, but that lasts as long as the bullets aren't flying and peaking out is a good way to die. The enemy has as much cover in an urban engagement.

A good way to convince anyone that participating in a modern war would suck is telling them not only is their life not guaranteed their chances of surviving is a coinflip between one of your guys or you noticing the enemy before they notice and can fire on you. Also, nearly guaranteed death in a well-organized ambush.

I don't disagree with you, but I don't think it's dementia or age that's the issue. If that was all it was people wouldn't stomach something like Biden. In my opinion the issue is people have been bred to be too retarded to go out of the norm or to challenge the status quo, and those who often do at this point are so retarded their challenge is an absurdity in itself. I don't think the problems we're seeing now are unique to the USA, as they're probably the manifestation of people being to afraid to lose what little they have while having just enough to be mildly content as there's some kind of voice in the back of their head screaming in agony because everything has just turned into a sort of sludge being shoveled on top of them daily.

Have you been paying attention to what the left has actually been saying? Like, at all? They have an insane degree of hatred for the old Slav warlord that far exceeds any rational assessment of what he's doing and how involved we have any right to be.
The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, just because leftists hate them doesn't mean I automatically ride their dick to be contrary, I don't care. The left are irrational retards, but the rhetoric of "The U.S. is a fat cat imperialist Western state so they can't criticize others when they maim, kill & burn" is an unmistakable prog-leftist argument that stinks of "Fuck America."

Yes, a lot of the shit that happened in the ME was stupid, counterintuitive & pointless, but who are we talking about? Is it Bush, Obama, Trump or Biden? You can't say "all of them" because only one was in charge at the time the Libyan interference happened.
Biden was VP during that whole debacle.
Vice presidents literally have no administrative power, the most he could've done was vocally advocate against it & everyone could've just ignored him.
Wait... you don't think the Arkancides(Including Seth Rich) were real?
Not quite, I'm insinuating that in order for this "But America did it first" narrative to work, you'd have to first confess a long dismissed conspiracy theory to be true.

Supposedly shot in utah.
Casual transport or something else?
Nigga, the US take joy rides all over the highway system with half mile convoys just for practice and to annoy me personally. I'm trying to get to where I'm going but I have to wait behind these faggots cuz their commander doesn't want to accept the liability of going above the speed limit. SO I GUESS ITS 65 MILES AN HOUR FOR THE NEXT 100 MILES YOU FUCKING 88MM NIGGERS!

America is actually responsible for this, so the tankies are for a change totally right, but nevermind that. You don't have to believe that Putin is god's gift to the world to come to the conclusion that the reaction around this war has been insane and that no end state for Ukraine is worth nuclear war or even the recession that the economic measures will cause and already exacerbating. The basic argument in favor of the living standard of people in your actual society weighs vastly in favor of doing as little as possible for the same reason that while everyone agrees that Saudi Arabia having offed thousand of Yemeni kids is terrible it has yet to prevent states from buying their gas or selling them weapons.

That is true, they even programmed penetration types for different materials in CoD though. I was just citing use of cover as an example. Of course nothing is foolproof or guaranteed but these guys are doing themselves few favors to ensure their own survival.

Best bet is just going prone on the ground and firing from there. Of course, you give up mobility that way, but it's either that or more easily getting shot.
