In my humble and obviously privileged opinion getting a job with a regular paycheck would fix it better than just e-begging every time he's slightly inconvenienced, but what do I know.

Yes, what would you know compared to Sapphixy The Public Health Economist? There is a Noble Prize in Economics just waiting for Slug when xzhe finally gets around to explaining these extremely complex issues to us, the peasantry. For now all we can do is DONATE and SHARE and maybe well get a special shout out at the award ceremony later.

I think he's unemployable for several reasons even if he isn't bullshitting about both his experience, qualification, and number of applications submitted. Primary suspects are his social media and the reason he was laid off in the first place; he might even be blacklisted at certain firms if it was serious enough.

I'll assume for the moment that Sean isn't completely lying and has sent out some resumes (albeit nowhere near hundreds let alone thousands) but I bet they're almost always for positions at or above the level he used to have. He has a three or four year gap on his resume that he won't explain, hasn't published in his field since he got his degree and shows no indication that he keeps up to date, likely has no references and yet it's somehow not his fault he can't get any kind of job anywhere at the level of deference he expects.

Troons refuse to believe they aren't the protagonist of the universe. How many Kiwis have briefly had to take a lower position than they probably deserved out of some kind of unfortunate situation just to get back into the system and cycle but it worked out because the employer quickly discovered they got someone better than they thought? Or it worked out because just being employed helped as a spring board to another position? Sean most probably refuses to "lower" himself, much like his lesbian fantasies, so will never get anywhere even if he is actually trying.

COUNTERPOINT: The state of that rice maker.

If your twitter is public and like *that* it will imply to employers that thats just how you are. In this case probably not incorrectly.
