General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Mika that currently still streaming just said:
  1. The ID & KR merge start next month, and there is a bit of change of content in the future, still not mentioning what.
Since I'm rarely following her actual stream and mostly just from clips, I don't know how meme-ish Mika is, but she kinda says she gonna get rid of some sound effect, I guess the one that sounds sexual (read: pufferfish ugh meme).
  2. She going to do less, confession stream, because she mentioned she got a lot of backlash from those kinds of streams due to some people using it for attack critique (?) other Niji members like EN or people questioning why she rarely hangs out with other ID members, or someone blames her that the merge is all her cause since she mostly hangs out with people out from ID as she mentioned she mostly talk to bobon and siska in ID circle. (she said there is 3 reason for it, and 1 of the reason she can't mention either from management or really personal)
  3. she addressing those people who hard shipping her with mysta, not because she hates people shipping them, as long as the other person is fine with it, but due there people keep spamming on Mika and Mysta tweet.

I'd say that's just you. I certainly haven't seen Fauna hangout with anyone from JP lately. I could say the same thing for Kronii until the birthday stream. I can't vouch for Bae since I don't keep much track on her.

in the early days of Myth I would say yeah, though I don't think it's the case anymore. I think a lot of the JP girls were just intimidated by Myth when they first debuted because they blew up so fast (like how Lamy said 5th gen had a bit of a confidence crisis when Myth debuted and blew past them)

A lot of the JP girls seemed to feel starstruck and felt detached from them at first but nowadays I don't think that's much the case. Ame and Gura interact with some of the JP girls regardless of the language barrier, Kiara does holotalk and joined Usada Construction, Calli is doing her English classes and had an off collab with Lui just yesterday as well as a couple song collabs with JP members, and Ina generally seems down and happy to collab. They've all made their own kind of inroads to the JP side since debut.

Council's easy relationships with JP were built on the roads Myth - with a lot of assistance from Moon and Iofi - trail blazed. Once JP got over the novelty of Myth and realized they were just like them, it made IRyS and the Council's lives easier. Ina essentially being adopted into Gen 5 was a watershed moment.

Right, I meant to say that it took Council much less time to break the ice and get to this point. It was poorly phrased, my bad.

Nanamori, Strawberry Prince leader and Kizuna Ai or Kaguya Luna (?) impregnator, has posted a public apology
Letter basically says he will stop streaming(?) indefinitely. He originally wanted to resign from SutoPuri as a form of apology, but apparently he was stopped and will be asking for guidance instead as to how he will continue as a member of the group

If you ever wondered what the minimum level of tech literacy that is needed to not get doxxed is, wonder no longer:

Just goes to show that having a proper setup is all well and good but the weakest link is always the person behind the avatar.
Jesus, I'm not Japanese and even I know that if you're going to recommend getting PC advice, you go to La-Lion Tech Tips. I'm sure Aqua might know, but hell if she can get through her weapons grade Social Anxiety.

I remember being in the stream with Kiara pre-move back to Austria and she was freaking out about shipping the computer. And every single person in chat was saying "Just ask Botan for help". She did the whole "Oh, well, I don't want to inconvenience her for it". And what happened? She asked Botan, and Botan immediately drove across town to help box up and pack that machine for Kiara.

This makes a lot of sense as this is the same person who lost all of her previous models b/c she had no off-site back or back up of any kind AFIK.

Calli ended up as 44, how fitting. Stamp numbers 20, 28, and 33 through 37 are all mysteriously absent. (That's mostly sarcasm, but 34 through 37 are interesting because even if you assume it's HoloCN talent, that's not enough spots for all six members.)
That's 5 slots so I'm guessing the numbers have just been reserved for HoloX since it's ordered by branch.

In the question of who would be the dad of HoloStars, Arurandeisu-papa wasn't even an afterthought for Astel and Izuru. Arurandeisu is not dad material, my life is a lie. Also, Rikka seems to be the most group focused out of everyone.

Oga is aiming to thread the thin line between ecchi and non-ecchi. If there is something to keep from the clip, it's that Oga's audience is still 50:50 male to female.

A lot of streamers seem to be having back seating problems from Fromsoft fans, both Vtubers and regular streamers. I feel bad for any devs that come across this shit.

Something related though, this might make the experience better for Ina and the rest of the Holo girls. It's frustrating though that YouTube doesn't have features like this already. For being such a big company they sit on their ass doing nothing a lot.

Soulsniggers are known to be backseating no fun cucks, its just in their nature to be insufferable, ER is not the first nor will be the last to suffer from this unfortunately

I think that may just be a result of the genre? People backseat more when someone fails, people fail at lot in soulsborne.
No they're just cunts.

Even Minecraft backseaters don't go on tirades about gatekeeping people who don't play optimally or don't know certain mechanics. ER has seen some of the worst spergouts I've ever seen regarding a video game.
