there's quite a bit of loose skin between the navel and crotch. it will stretch easily for most people without pulling on the navel too much. the navel may get a vertical slit appearance for a while after and have a slightly slimming effect but it won't really move all that much and over time it will stretch again, and that bit if loose skin will reemerge.
