don't really see why it would, radahn's greatest weakness is what phil excels at. hiding behind other people and letting them do the work for you.

can Radahn slap some ass and deal insane damage? sure. but why would you be in a position to let him?

Radahns arena is a giant open area with literally nothing in it, you can fight him (and are supposed to) by summoning 6 NPCs to help you, who you can resummon if they die, you're also allowed to use your horse.

you look at that description and tell me if you foresee salt.

people hyping Radahn up are people who saw/tried to fight him 1v1, is he difficult if you do that? yeah, is phil going to do that? no.
I don't disagree with you. It took me a few tries of getting impaled by arrows before I realize the correct way of going about the fight.

Knowing his track record so far, it will be ultimate bitch fight of 20+ minutes of him running around summoning and throwing lightning spears at him. It's just a matter of how quickly he "figures" this out. Will he immediately do everything right, do everything correct, and do nothing wrong or will he be pissed enough and actually figure this out on his own(lol no).

i am confused. i thought the entire point of this conversation was "what bosses can still fuck up phil despite him reading a guide?"

operating under that assumption, Radahn is not one of them was my point.

Remember when he complained how his parents went to his mature adult condo in CT, saw all that "worthless junk." that's is now in the nook in his WAkahndo, his mother sat him down and said his spending was "worrying", and how he should "save some of that money.", how did Phil intercept that?
The relevance of a moment where Linda expressed opinions that went against THE vice of his, cannot be overstated. We're talking about the guy who fraudulently filed for bankruptcy literally so he could keep playing Champions instead of give any of that money up to pay off his debts and be rid of them. That's the only sacrifice he would've had to make, and he chose a scummy option instead.

To me, that makes it a foregone conclusion that Phil heard her concerns and decided it was time to move very far away. He has shown no tolerance whatsoever for his personality flaws being anything other than enabled.

radahn really isn't that hard.
But will radahn produce salt? If that boss can at least get close to Tree sentinel range I’ll be sated

It's really going to be some random Evergaol or dungeon that triggers DSP. The odds of ER bringing good salt disappeared when it took DSP two weeks to reach Liurnia. Item locations and bosses are completely mapped out now so he can just cheese whatever. When he gets the mimic its over.
It took him "two weeks" because he wanted to hard beef up before the later parts of the game.

Piggy doesn't want the playthrough to be "entertaining" he wants to look "cool," which in his case requires reading guides and "randomly" finding good weapons.

This is an excellent point. I didn’t think about it but now that you mention it it makes sense, the roach has been crying mainly about image type things such as death counters hurting his fee fees and people calling him out on being boring

Yea the bosses have produced some salt but ya the majority is from chat and others bitching about his guides and boring ass stream.

Just gotta let him get in his own way again I guess and stop praying for a Alpha Chad Boss to save my hopes.

Plus he's optional and guide reader Phil knows this. So he can explore an entire other area and come back 25 levels higher with a +8 halberd. The real test will be the two final optional bosses. Even at lvl 140 with summons they could make him rage hard.

Going back to him "proving" that he doesn't read guides because of the death counter, I checked all of his TIHYDPs and this is by far his worst playthrough when it comes to the amount of deaths that he has. Now granted, Elden Ring is quite a bit longer than From's other games, I checked the times on howlongtobeat and also looked at my own times for my first blind playthroughs of all games and most Souls games are usually beaten in about 25-35 hours, with Elden Ring taking most people around 44 hours to beat, so I checked Soulslike games from other developers and stumbled upon Nioh 2 which also had an average time of around 44 hours (for me it was 80 but that's because I also did literally all the side khantent). While he did cheese Nioh 2 with lightning+sloth talisman and was handheld every step of the way, Nioh does throw a wrench at complete handholding due to the Diablo loot, so he can't just easily find an OP weapon by reading about it in a guide like in Souls games, plus with how all weapons and armor are levelled in Nioh, it's impossible to carry one weapon from early game to endgame... or well, it is through Soul Matching but Soul Matching is a complete waste of time and resources in NG and only becomes useful in NG+ and later.

So how many deaths did he have when he beat Otakemaru, the last boss in Nioh 2? 319. He has already surpassed that in Elden Ring and he hasn't even reached late game areas yet. Phil isn't getting better at Soulslikes nor is he even halfway competent at them, pigga's regressing, made even more ridiculous by the fact that we've never seen the amount of handholding and pre and post-stream guide reading and boss research that we see now with Elden Ring.

It's always so insane to me that he can have a good week like this one where he's very easily cleared 1.5k in tips alone and still end up broke.

The craziest part is I believe him too. He needs those pulls he really does.
This is my favorite perfect storm in the scam. He gets in bed with a whale for a few days and exceeds his targets for the week... and yet says all the money is gone.
So if he didn't hit he goals, what exactly was going to happen? He would have been foreclosed on? How could he have counted on this happening, given that the last week was significantly lower than usual? Seems like a massive leap of faith without an appropriate degree of panic for the apparent magnitude of the situation.

But no, it's just the fact that Phil somehow always gets exactly the amount of money required to pay his bills and have none leftover at all, even in an unexpected windfall. The week resets like it was an episode of a pre-streaming era sitcom, everything back to starting positions by the time the credits roll. Phil spends every excess and loose cent on an optional expense that he fully controls.

And this right here is also the crux of the problem. If he wasn't begging for his bills and implying he was in dire straits while he very obviously lies without hesitation, this would hardly be such a vile scam. But he knows he wouldn't get the serious wheelchair bucks if he didn't, so he lets himself indulge.

My favorite part of the Elden Ring Cheesing vs Street Fighter KoF Fighter Games cope.

Phil has not 1 but 2 arcade style cabinet joystick/fightpads that he uses to exploit the mechanics of modern fighting games.
Keyboards and Hitboxes would be the ones exploiting mechanics, due to being able to do some bullshit through holding charge while walking forward easily, instant 360 and pretzel, and so on.

Arcade sticks, specially the ones Phil uses and not some weird custom one, do not exploit anything.

I haven't been watching DSP play Elden Ring so I don't know what bosses he has beaten.

If he runs into the ancient ancestor deer though that might give him a run for his money since it literally jumps all over the place and uses ranged attacks its on the ground for a small amount of time.

thought you were going to say there was a begging mechanic in the arsenal.
despite the results i don't think he's actually any good at begging.

anyone can go on cam and say "hey, i need money.......for reasons......just give me it"

phil is only lucky in that he has retards who actually do.

the day phil gets money out of me is the day i'll say he's good at begging.
