Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Because considering the wellbeing of your future offspring is eugenics!!! She's also black so she probably sees the disability and race stuff as the same bc old school eugenicists used to be for getting rid of both non whites and and any disabled people. So by having a baby with a serious disorder, she's sticking it to the racists/ableists who say she shouldn't.
Except they should be considered completely different, bc race alone won't give your kid horrible, lifelong health issues.
Maybe she also feels alone with her facial deformity so wanted someone else who has it so she feels less alone.
Also sticking it to the tax payers so double win.

I think denial too. “Yeah, I had a hard time growing up, lots of stares, surgeries and few friends, but I grew up and somebody wanted to fuck me and put a baby in me, so it worked out. I can teach her how to handle stares and we’ll be besties, she won’t really need friends. Besides, I’ll probably be in the 25% who has a normal baby. Why should I have to give up pregnancy and adopt? I’ve already had enough unfairness in my life, and I know I’ll be blessed with a normal little girl.

Oops. Oh well.”

I think she has Crouzons, not Treacher-Collins. Her baby dad is surprisingly normal looking so the romance is quite heart warming, but the insistence on having a biological kid is just so narcissistic given the circumstances. She also recently had a second trimester miscarriage, so it looks like nature took the wheel this time around

You are correct:

Just because you technically have the right and the ability to have a kid, doesn't mean you should. Life is hard enough even for people considered normal and for those that deviate from the norm, it can be pure hell. Very selfish woman.

And speaking of Lovecraftian nightmares, Derek is getting huge and somehow becoming more monstrous looking with each passing day. I do not use those terms to describe a baby lightly, but his craniofacial deformities are some of the worst I've seen since Juliana Wetmore. I think he's quite cognitively impaired, which in his case is a blessing. Unlike Wetmore and the Crouzon's kid above, at least Derek will probably never know how horribly disfigured he is.

Seeing the video of that baby makes me terrified of having a child at all, ever. That would be like carrying a monster. I'm glad these things are rare because the prospect of having a baby that's horribly deformed is so terrifying. I genuinely don't understand how these women think this stuff is great and fine. I understand these young parents are probably just trying to make the best of the situation but holy shit, look at that kid's head, he has brain damage, he's never going to be normal.

One of the worst parts of this is that she has a shit ton of followers.

It's so incredibly, utterly selfish to try for a baby when you have such a serious condition, even more so when it would bring so many difficulties and a disfigured face to boost. The poor child has to use a trach at such a young age, her head is huge and the eyes are bulging outside the skull, her tongue is so swollen that I doubt she can eat by mouth. It's so sad to think this could have been easily avoidable if only she wasn't so selfish. If she wanted a disabled baby so bad she could have adopted a baby with the same or other condition instead of making another one. It seems there are some surgeries that can improve their life as well as appearance a bit, but if she didn't care about passing down her genetic disorder to her child I doubt she would give a shit about letting this baby have a surgery to improve that.

This is one of the comments in her instagram. Sure, because high blood pressure is the SAME as not being able to breathe without a trach, not being able to talk or eat, having a disfigured face. It's exactly the same.

It seems like she doesn't post much on instagram so often, last post is from one week ago so I checked her tiktok account. She posted an ultrasound picture on IG so she was pregnant, my guess is she had a miscarriage because on her tiktok bio says 'R.I.P baby boy.' She also mentioned her tiktok account got hacked, but she had almost 2M followers there (1.9M) and is trying to get it back. She only has 397 followers on the new one.

PS the thing about cocomelon seems interesting, if anyone got more to say about it i'm curious, I have a baby nephew and her mother puts that and some other overstimulating shit like that for him, I'm sure that hinders or at least is a disturbance for a child's development.

Having a a horrifically disabled (or just very disabled) kid could paradoxically solve a lot of problems, in a twisted and pathological way: it fills your life.
The right kind of woman can literally make a career and build a community out of a disabled kid.
And I’m not talking about economical helps, it literally gives them a reason to be alive.

Many parents just fall apart, others find the perfect niche.

Cocomelon is jyst yet another good reason to never allow little kids near a phone, considering that it's becoming known these kinds of products are intentionally created to use human psychology and behavioral science to create true addiction and to direct behavior (especially to ads and product buying.) At this point it's like handing a kid a cigarette while he watches Joe Camel cartoons.

Having a baby though, is not about the mother’s life. It’s about the child’s.

In a normal situation, you only have them for 17-18 years and in that time, you are preparing them to live the next 60 years without you. Of course, you still love them, help them etc. but they should be mostly ready to be on their own. Caregiving is not supposed to be your lifetime career but many moms forget that, even if their kids are healthy.

With most of these disabled kids, it is constant.

If a woman is the type who can blossom and create community with a disabled baby-adopt. We don’t need new ones to suffer.

Accidents happen and not everything is preventable, but if it’s genetic and you know the odds are stacked against you-why? At that point, I say it’s about the mother and not the child at all.

I think it’s partly cultural and partly emotional, many people want a kid that looks like them or their partner.
Rationally, I completely agree with you that if you have certain genetical issues you should do your best to not pass them down, but emotionally I sort of under why some people just can’t bring themselves to adopt. It’s a complex issue. As irritating as I found those parents who stubbornly fight against miscarriages and every issue under the sun just to end up with a potato, a part of me understand. A bit at least.

It also depends on the country you're in. Here in Australia, stranger adoptions are in the single digits a year and foster to adopt isn't really a thing because 'reunification' is the goal. This is due to the Stolen Generation bullshit and a period of the 70s where unwed and teenagers mother's were 'encouraged' to adopt their babies out. Those adoptions had no proper paperwork and those adoptees has no way of finding their birth families and it caused a big scandal about a decade ago.

Overseas adoptions have also been heavily cracked down on due to various international adoption scandals.

If you want a kid in Australia, you either have to hope one of your siblings or cousins is a trainwreck that loses custody or to birth your own.

Is surrogacy not an option? Genuinely wondering.
Surrogacy can be but it isn't allowed to be done commercially. You cannot pay your surrogate, it has to be done voluntarily. Even just buying her a fridge if hers shits itself is illegal and can land you in prison. I'm not aware of what happens after the baby is born though, regarding birth certificates and shit.

I'm only aware of it because a friend was looking into it and decided IVF was a better use of their money.

I think the Crouzon kid is adorable. She looks like a lil human pug. Still unethical that her mom had her knowing how high the risk is but she is cute.

What a dumb nigger. High blood pressure is mostly lifestyle related, it's not comparable to Crouzon. Sickle cell is her only good comparison. Diabetes isn't genetic in either types, type 1 is an autoimmune disorder and type 2 is lifestyle. Asthma is a complex condition with many possible factors. You have to be really dumb to compare complex, common diseases to a monogenic disease.

That sucks but also I don't get this logic. Seems like the government meddling for no reason. Like... Who does that benefit in society?

Is surrogacy supposed to be done out of pure charity? Are they doing this in the name of "protecting" women from being "exploited" or something? (By not paying them lol) Do they think it's helping the pregnancy to financially endanger the mother, the fetus, and the future parents? Do they just want surrogacy to be de facto illegal?
What's the point of this law?

Surrogacy gets banned for fear of exploitation of the poor.
