It's right sad how he neutered his Elden Ring playthrough.
Especially since he's apparently dying way more than he has in similar games of past years. This means he is indeed getting worse at playing them on his own, AND in properly utilizing guides, because I don't know about you, but I usually die a lot less when I already know what to do. Phil is reading/watching all kinds of shit and still not adequately prepared because at the end of the day, those guides aren't literally playing the game for him.
What makes this worse is that Phil is actively seeking this situation. Not the higher death count, but the circumstances leading to it.
@Pretty Boy Extremism is right, he's going for his idea of looking good in a playthrough, which, thanks to his stupidity and psychological issues, is WAY off base. His footage is providing nothing but endless clips of him engaging in bad acting and demonstrating even more powerfully than before that he fucking SUCKS. Not just at video games, at life in general, because who the fuck dies MORE when they have guides telling them what to do?
Phil is so narrowly focused on not raging because he knows the detractor community enjoys it, and is completely ignoring that this bullshit is way fucking worse than footage of him losing his shit because he can't do something. He's trying to look competent and displaying the exact opposite. In any of the classics, he was met with more adversity than a normal person. It was hysterical how much more challenging any given task was for him, and that's what truly birthed the TIHYDP genre. But you could say he overcame it all.
Not anymore. Not for a long time, and his incompetence has only grown as a result of not being tested, of not having to get over hurdles on his own. He was always going to suck, but he should've held onto that caveat, the fact that he endured. Stood on his own two hooves. Could've actually had a legacy, as a result, but no. Had to be more concerned with the laughs at his expense, because he's a fucking misanthropic attention-whore, an asshole not based enough to give no fucks about the opinions of others. Phil hates your existence, but he WILL have your adulation, come hell or high water.

You would think that someone who has conned dentheads out of $1000 on Elden Ring over the past few days would be a little more cheery.
I would indeed, if that was literally all I knew, which just goes to show that that account is his. Even without all the other evidence, Phil clearly has something sucking up all of his money that he doesn't talk about. A mobile game would make the most sense because drugs would be more obvious, his taste in booze is dogshit, and he doesn't like going anywhere. It isn't his actual bills because we know what those are and besides that, the bank leaks confirm that he spends more money than he admits to making.
I still can't believe he tried the "fraudulent charges", instead of denying that his account got compromised. That was the dumbest response he could possibly have given, because for us, that confirms that it's all accurate. You would think he would know that, from reading here so much.
