I saw that video before. The source I found it from says that it was not committed by Russians, but by Ukrainians using a Tochka-U missile (which launches cluster munitions before impact, iirc)

Are the missiles Ukrainian, or are they something they took from the Russians?

Because based on the maps they still don't control the main highways going to Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia and the main Russian forces in the south are stucked sieging Mariupol and therefore they can't push very hard towards the north while in the north Izyum has been taken, which is a concern but not a deal breaker.

They can still breakout of any Russian forces in their rear right now because the forces that might encircle them are still too weak to make a proper pocket.

Notice that Ukrop seems to only have had a few successes with drone strikes early.

The technology to deal with A-10 strafes was already developed while the A-10 was still in production.
The A-10 is essentially a 1960s aircraft - meant to do the A-1 Skyraider's role but not suffer as many losses from manually aimed 14.5mm guns.
When the A-10 was halfway through production, Shilkas with 23mm guns escorted by SA-9s or SA-13s were already a thing. The biggest fucking irony about the A-10 was that it was pushed by the military reformers who were allergic to modern technology and demanded a low tech aircraft, but the A-10 had to be crammed full of technology to even be remotely relevant. The way to use an A-10 in a modern setting is essentially fire the Maverick missiles from as far away as possible and never go for guns until the only enemies left are trucks and infantry.

Ok.. so to be clear, ignoring "the map is not the territory" you are certain that Russia has not encircled the Ukie army in the East because the map you've chosen to use(there are current maps showing the encirclement has already happened) say that over a person who is in Ukraine, apparently in Kharkov, telling you what his on the ground experience is and what he has to be hearing and seeing in his first hand experience. Telling you the Ukie army is encircled.
